Is it possible to use this oil with a floating lamp wick?

No, floating lamp wicks are meant to be used with vegetable or olive oil. Because floating wicks are coated in paraffin wax, liquid paraffin lamp oil will not work. Fiberglass wicks and cotton wicks are ideal for our Hyoola Liquid Paraffin Lamp Oil. Please keep in mind that, unlike other kerosene products, our lamp oil burns cleanly and produces no smoke, soot, or other pollutants.

Is this something that can be used with vintage oil lamps? I simply do not want to purchase the incorrect item. ?

I'm always wary of the odorless label because my understanding of it appears to differ from others'. However, there was no odor at all, which was a huge plus in our house. The bottle is leak-proof, and it burns properly when used with oil lamps. If you're looking for lamp oil, this is a fantastic deal. And we all know how important every penny is!.

It states that it is odorless, which it is! Some lamp oils claim to be scentless/odorless, but when you receive them, you discover that they are not

There isn't any smoke! This product claims to be smokeless, but it left my house covered in fine black soot

The use of this oil resulted in a dark black ac filter, which was traced back to it. If you don't want black soot in your house, steer clear of it.
