Questions & Answers

Could you please clarify whether this is paraffin or petroleum actual candle wax? In order to make chain lube, candle wax is needed as a base to mix with melted paraffin wax. ?

Kerosene is what we're talking about. In the United Kingdom, paraffin is referred to as kerosene.

What is the content of MTBE in this oil?

On the bottle, it does not mention anything about the ingredients. There is nothing more to it than "paraffin". The bottle states, however, that it is odorless and suitable for indoor use, but that is not the case and neither is it true. There is a very strong odor to it.

the oil entirely odorless even when it is burning in the same room with five or six lamps?

You want your wicks to be short so that when you cut them once a week, your candles will mostly smell like nothing. In my house there are 6 fires burning on one level and my wife has 8 on the same level. I can smell nothing icky or foul. I have used many different companies' products so we have used many different oils. This is the coolest oil i have ever used.

Thanks for visiting! Please excuse my ignorance, but can this Your help is greatly appreciated! ?

As an owner of many alcohol stoves, I know what they are like. There is no way this will As far as alcohol stoves are concerned, I am quite fond of them. In the beginning, they may seem dangerous to those who are unfamiliar with them, but once you get a handle on it, they can be really It is NOT recommended that you use any kerosene or lamp oil. It does not matter how many are there. There is 9% pure paraffin in this substance. This is not a thing to use. Your burner configuration will be completely ruined as a result

There is no odor to it, and it burns cleanly
5/5

As an alternative to a candle, my husband and I light a lantern every night during dinner. There are a lot of oils I have tried and I have a problem with odor, as well as a dirty globe even though they say they are I would highly recommend this product, and I will continue to use it in the future.

The fuel quality is better than kerosene, but the price is higher and it The hurricane lamps I use every night are my favorite
4/5

Leaving the light on is like leaving a night light on. My house is equipped with electricity, but I prefer the soft glow of a lamp oil lamp. The lamps in my home are usually fueled by kerosene. The smell is unpleasant and there is a bit of soot in it. There's no problem with it. In the past week, I had the opportunity to try paraffin oil. Unlike paraffins, which give off smoke or soot, paraffin oil has no smell, no smoke, and no soot. Then that's exactly what I'm looking for. I don't like the fact that it costs twice as much and burns twice as fast as korosene. If you are one of the people who rarely use your oil lamps, I would recommend this one. In my experience, it's more of a choice. If I were to use emergency lighting for an extended period of time, I would elect to use kerosene since it occupy less In my case, I keep about 20 gallons of lamp oil on hand. But this is the right choice for most people, too.

There is another way to buy 4 gallons on amazon. In case of a power failure lasting a few weeks, you might want to buy it in bulk to keep on hand for such situations. So lamps and oil are what I consider to be a way of life for me.

I appreciate you offering a great product that we can enjoy using inside flat wick lanterns
5/5

The product works well for us. This product has no smell except for a very mild candle smell, and it has a whiter light than regular candles or kerosene substitutes, which we do not use inside. We use these candles on our porches and our screens, as well as on our front porch. In case you are using the oil from your lamp or lantern inside, please make sure you pour the old oil back into the bottle from where you got the oil, and then replace the wick with a new one and wait at least 30 minutes for the new wick to soak up the updated Find out how to trim your wicks so that they are the shape you want your flame to be on YouTube. Mixing this oil with other oils is not recommended. Although some sites suggest not to use wicks larger than 1/2 inch, we have had great success with 1/4 to 7/8 inch wicks. To learn how to make your lanterns and to enjoy them is your decision.

There has been a power outage
3/5

I like the way it looks. Most of the time, there is no odor or smoke. Due to an upgrade of the electric company's circuits, I purchased it to prepare for a planned power outage These are stationed. A 100 year old Boston subway tunnel lantern that belonged to my great grand fathers was polished and cleaned. It had been unused for a century, and it had been cleaned up of centuries of dust. The wick was filled with oil and primed. It worked really well. I find this so cool. The soot that resulted from extinguishing the flame was minimal or none at all. I was surprised at the outcome. This is the second time I've ordered from you.

I find it to be the best
5/5

have been burning Victorian oil lamps for over 50 years and I am 70 years old. Since I started paying 30 dollars almost every month, I have almost doubled the amount. Since I have over 72 lamps and I use all of them for heat, I thought the most pure oil would be right for me at $. 00 a gallon. Kerosene and the Clean Heat products that claim to be odorless don't work for me since I have allergies. As the Ultra Pure I was using which uses no paraffin was getting too expensive, I learned from the reviews that the Hyoola brand is a great alternative. There were several empty lamps, but none were completely empty. I replaced the wicks, but only trimmed them. Filling and lighting every lamp in the house has taken a lot of my time. He let the cigarettes burn for a while before going outside in the bitter cold to walk back inside. Astonished at the fact that none of the lamps had a smell, I proceeded to smell They burn bright and don't emit any smoke. A comparison of Hyoola and Firefly Ultra Pure lamp oil shows an extremely superior product, which is less expensive, has zero smell, burns bright and is just as long-lasting, plus the gallon jug is easier to pour and does not drip at all. Oils based on paraffin have a more offensive smell, but this one does not. After using what I believed was the best over a long period of time, I will discontinue my long-term use of this product and only use Hyoola from now on since I have to order 3 to 4 gallons at a time due to my I'd like to thank Hyoola for supplying this great lamp oil at such an affordable price. I will be spending a lot of time with you.

The second order of the day! The last thing we want is to be caught shorthanded
5/5

The oil lamps we have go back at least 8 years and we have not located our candle holders since our move, but we did find the oil lamps so we ordered some There is no scent to this oil and it burns clean and clear. Our order will increase by another gallon due to the large number of lamps. I find this far safer to use than candles . . . . When I left home with the lamps still lit, I was never worried about the danger. When I left home with candles, the situation was terrifying.

This lighter is easy to use for starting a fire! The wood burning stove would not start without it all winter long
5/5

With a pumice stone, soaked in this mixture, I can easily start the fire! I used to use paper and cardboard to get the fire started. I like it a lot.

The price may not be cheap, but the product is worth it
5/5

This worked for me when I used the things you get at big box stores. In fact, it worked so well that I also felt repellent from the smoke. These products work and I found them on Amazon. It's great to be able to sit on my patio without being bothered by smoke now. A torch's glow is enhanced by the smoke that comes from it. This works great for my kerosene lamps as well. You won't find any smoke, and there won't be any filthy glass chimneys. The money is well spent.
