The apartment that my husband and I share in the city is an old one. Due to the gap under our front door, we were unable to close it. As you can see in the before picture, there was enough of a gap to allow my flat hand to fit It is true that our front door is adjacent to the hallway, but that gap allows cold air to enter our house from the outside because the hallway is not heated and our outside door is located in there. As well as insects getting under the gap and into our apartment, we have also experienced issues. After reading many reviews, I ordered this "Huge Door Gap Draftstopper" to solve the door gap issue. I am 1) Installing the software was very easy. The entire process only took about three I created a finished look for the door as well as making it more effective.

First, I cleaned the bottom of the door where the adhesive would touch, and I had my husband measure the length of the draftstopper and trim off the excess material. It was easy for him to cut it with regular household scissors. In order to place the draftstopper on the door, he removed the red tape from the adhesive part. Approximately one inch of space was left between the draftstopper and the gap, which it easily filled. In addition, the adhesive was very sticky, according to him. To secure the door, he hammered in a bunch of heavy duty tacks which were included. Since there were no tacks included in some reviews, we used them since the adhesive is so strong. However, some reviewers did not use the tacks because the adhesive was so strong. Immediately, the draft that was coming under the door ceased! It was very difficult to leak through the seal created by the draftstopper. This will also prevent insects from entering our apartment, which I am certain will prevent them from bothering me. It exactly met our needs and I have already recommended it to others who have trouble with their door gaps!.

There was something there I had to have so I went out and bought a screw from a big home repair store A door sweep can be of a variety of types. The sweep had a metal strip and a heavy-duty rubber pad. As a result of disabilities, I can't get down low to mark the holes, drill a hole for the screw, hold the thing in my hand and screw it in. The process of doing it had to be delayed until I was able to get assistance. There was no evidence that it ever took place. It was hot in the summer, so the air conditioning ran continuously. It is now time for the heat to flow out and the cold to rush One of your sweeps was given to my daughter for her front door, and she was very pleased both with how easy it was to install and with how useful it is. A copy of it has been ordered. Next day, I got it from Amazon (thank you Prime!) and installed it myself. We have done 1, 2, 3. You have done a beautiful job. This is actually the final touch to the door's appearance. I love how well it works. Having done this YEARS ago, I should have done it now.

It's a draft stopper I have on my bedroom door that keeps the room cool when my air conditioner is on, but I didn't think about the fact that my cats might get irritated by While I believe this draft stopper is of good quality, I do not think it can withstand a cat's I think the kids thought it would be a good idea to play with the side edges, so they are starting to wear them out. In general, I'm happy about my purchase, it does exactly what it is supposed to.

The pair have two of these so that I can do them both inside and outside of a I found it difficult to move my life into 400 square feet and make my rental space look like a studio due to my OCD. The fact that I didn't need special heavy duty cutters was very helpful! With regards to the adhesive, I didn't have any problems with it falling off. Despite the challenges, it has held on well! Wow! I'm blown away! Rubber's thick and durable, so be sure to invest in it! It would definitely be a recommendation and I would buy it.

The quality of this is so much better than the cheap ones The rubber came rolled, but since it was heavy, it flattened out quickly. I took my old one off the door and cleaned it with the cleaner that came with it. I then measured, cut, and applied it I like how strong the adhesive is It has remained in place and is doing a great When I need to purchase more, I will certainly do so.

I concerned that the heat was going to mess with the adhesive on the draft stopper I installed on my outside garage door. I thought it wouldn't last very long. Every aspect of everything works as expected. I am very pleased with this.
