What should I say first? Putting this thing together is a nightmare. I just finished putting together eight Ikea pieces, and they were all a breeze in comparison to this. The large base pieces are crooked and there is no way to fix it. Then there's the matter of lining up and putting together the shelves. One of the holes on the third shelf down is drilled incorrectly and will not fit in the side; I may have to have my husband drill it. It is not worth the ten dollars. I'm trying to decide whether I should keep it or disassemble it and return it. I've been working on it for the past two hours, one of which was spent fiddling with that stupid shelf. It's simply not worth the trouble. And the finished product does not appear to be straight. It appears to be misaligned. It's no longer a problem for me.
☺️. The speed with which it arrived astounded me! I expected it to take a week to arrive, but it arrived in just three days! Very simple to put together and packaged well! It's in a shady corner outside, and it can hold quite a bit of weight. ☺️.
It appears to be exactly the same as in the photo. I arrived on time, and the assembly was simple enough, but I'm used to putting furniture together. Instructions can be difficult for someone who is new to furniture assembly. Some of the shelves were damaged upon arrival, and it appears that putty was used to conceal the damage prior to shipping.
I put this together on my own and completely botched it because the pictures are difficult to work with. The shelf still works fine despite the fact that I put the two stands together incorrectly. br>br>One leg is slightly taller than the other, but that could be my fault for putting them together incorrectly. br>br>The shelves did have adhesive residue on them (as evidenced by the photos posted by others). A damp cloth was used to remove it. Yes, it's not real wood and it's cheap. This is in our bathroom, and I didn't want real wood because humidity would cause it to warp. Do I believe it has a ten-year shelf life? No, I doubt it. Is it, however, viable for the time being and the foreseeable future? That's correct.
This shelf was one of the most challenging things I've ever built on my own. It's still possible, but you'll have to put up some resistance. I have the shelf in a far corner of my living room, and while I like how it looks overall, there are paint or glue marks on the wood parts if you look closely.
I was able to put it together on my own because it was simple to put together. I would buy from them again!.
When I couldn't make up my mind, I came across this. It was the perfect price, and it was incredibly simple to assemble. It's tough enough to hold all of my makeup and other cosmetics. If I ever needed a new shelf for another room, I would definitely buy this piece again.
It will arrive exactly as shown, but take care not to knock it over. It ends up slanted, and depending on what's on the shelves, it could easily topple over if something taps the back piece. To hold it up, I would suggest using wire and securing it to the wall.
