I don't believe it's a good idea.
No way, what makes you think you'd want to do that? The shelves are quite small, but the sizes should be listed in the description.
2 boards, each 17 inches long by 7 inches wide, one goes left at corner angles and the other goes right; the top one is higher than the bottom one, measuring 11 inches from counter to top shelf and 7 inches under the bottom shelf. As a result, there is enough room on the counter for a variety of sizes, and no space is wasted on each shelf. Mine is on the far side of the island, which allows for more space and prevents items from being strewn about the counter.
Perhaps you should consider replacing the item.

I adore the design; it's practical and space-saving for my spices on the counter, and it's simple to put together without the use of tools. The materials, on the other hand, are extremely low-cost and light. That isn't a problem in and of itself; if they'd done it correctly, it would still be strong enough. The shelf I received had a leg in the center that was far too long, causing the entire shelf to rock. To help balance it, I had to place three pieces of cardboard under each of the remaining four legs. I'm keeping it simply because doing returns during coronavirus lockdown is a bad idea. Given the high cost of this, I was extremely disappointed. The quality you get for the money is abysmal.
There is a little bit of a trick to putting this together the best way possible. Because the longest legs are likely to be a little bent (due to the metal being soft and the packing being thin), you'll want to make sure the double-sided tape is secure. To best align the legs and eliminate any wobble, tighten the sided screws to the wood before putting them on. It's possible that some reviewers aren't willing to make changes. It's possible that you'll need to grab the long legs and slightly bend them back. Just keep an eye out for cracks in the wood. I assembled, installed, and adjusted the shelving in just a few minutes using a firm but gentle hand. It appears to be quite appealing. The end result is a simple shelf that gives the illusion of a cleared counter without actually clearing it. I bought it for my wife's bathroom, and it appears to work perfectly, reaching almost to the bottom of her mirror. It would be simple to remove the legs and spray paint them with a clear satin finish or white paint to update the look even more.
These are what I'm using to keep my kitchen clutter under control and make the most of my counter space. They perform admirably in this capacity. All of the components appeared to be in good condition. When I put them together, they were well-made and sturdy. I had all of the necessary hardware, and the only tool I needed was a small Philips screwdriver to attach the piece of hardware with the small hooks, which was not included. It was a breeze to put them together. It took me about ten minutes to put each one together. Depending on whether you want to use this as a corner shelf or a straight shelf, the instructions include instructions for two different shelf layouts. To demonstrate what I mean, I've included photos of both sides of the instructions. There were a few parts of the instructions that weren't written or illustrated very well, but I was still able to figure it out because the options for which hardware goes where are limited. There is one thing that the instructions do not mention: On one side of the piece of hardware for the hanging hooks, there is a blue plastic protective film; It's supposed to be peeled off before putting it together. I'm very pleased with them and believe I'll be able to put them to good use. I recommend taking detailed measurements ahead of time to ensure that they will fit in your space and serve your purpose. If the measurements are appropriate for your needs, I strongly advise you to purchase this item.
I recently moved into this apartment and measured before ordering, but I didn't know where the legs would be positioned until I put it together. It's a little too big for my counter and crosses the sink knobs, as you can see in my photo. I wish I could have kept it, but I don't want to have to fight with the faucet every time I turn it on. Despite this, the company and product deserve a positive review for a good product.
Since about March, I've placed three orders for these. It's possible that virus boredom is causing the organization's insanity. It was simple to put together all three. Mine are stretched out straight, but they would look great in a corner as well. My only complaint is that they all sway. One of the legs on each is a little too short; this may not be a problem if you're putting something heavy on it, but I'm using it for light display, and any bump against the dresser would send things flying. If you have an extra washer lying around, the problem is easily solved; however, I did not. I made a bunch of paper washers with a hole punch and simply piled them on until the wobbling ceased. If you bend over to look under the shelf, it's not very pretty, but since most people won't do that, I think it looks fine and solves the problem. I think they're a little overpriced, especially since they're in need of repair, but finding standing shelves to create extra display space was difficult for me, and these fit the bill. Having two legs on each end was a must for what I wanted because I couldn't lean mine against a wall. These would be perfect for holding assorted bottles on a bathroom counter or small stacks of dishes in the kitchen. In the kitchen, I use one to free up space for bread and chip bags. I'd try it with small potted plants or a short stack of books laid flat, but I'm not sure I'd trust it with anything heavier or more fragile. I would recommend them if you're desperate for a way to elevate a flat space, as long as you can stabilize the one wobbly leg.
I'm not sure why this was such a bad idea, but it was. I was ecstatic with the measurements, which perfectly fit a corner of our kitchen, as well as the multilevel surface's functionality. When it arrived, I was satisfied with the contents of the box; the bamboo was satisfactory, and the metal appeared to be of good quality. The truth began to unravel only after we had gone to the trouble of removing everything from the box and putting it together. Not only were all of the measurements off, but the actual parts were also illogical. The two half poles that fit into the center section were simply two half pieces of the other pole. They did, however, go on either side of the wood, which was not taken into account in the calculations, resulting in one pole being one wood thickness longer than the others! We looked through the instructions, assuming we'd been given the wrong part, but there was no mention of the two parts being unequal. As a result, it's physically impossible for it to be durable. We were both annoyed at that point because we had spent an hour trying to figure out what was wrong with it and now had to disassemble it, pack it, and ship it back. What a hassle.
