This shelf isn't commercial or heavy-duty, but it does the job. A shelf can accommodate a wide range of items. It takes up a lot of room and is ideal for a corner. It works for me.
I'm glad the shelf covers are included; they help keep my kitchen tools in their proper place.
After waiting two months for Costco to restock a similar corner steel shelving, I decided to buy this. I could tell it wasn't the same quality as Costco the moment I picked up the box. I'd already purchased the 6-pack of cigarettes. It was a set of three tier rectangle shelves from Costco, and it was heavy. Even with the plastic mats in place, the shelf flexed easily from my hand placement. There's no way this thing can hold 170 pounds. This won't work for canned goods, dried goods, or small appliances in my pantry. Paper plates, plastic cups, plastic utensils, and placemats are examples of light-weight items that can be used with it. If I had purchased this in a store, I would have returned it right away.
We ordered this assuming, based on the description, that the shelves would be stronger than they are AND that it would come with both leveling feet and wheels. br>One of the shelves was badly bent when it arrived. (See photo) I'm not sure if this happened during production or during delivery. br>At this time, the information on this item is misleading. br>According to one area: 5 rubber cuffs that can be adjusted Endless leveling feet keep the unit in place while allowing you to balance and stabilize it on uneven floors. br>Leveling feet are not included in the parts list. br>We just got our 6-month supply of booze. There are no leveling feet included with this shelf corner unit.
All of the previous reviews are accurate - This is not the heavy-duty steel shelving that everyone has and that Costco must have sold in the billions. These shelves, on the other hand, had to fit into the corner of my closet for stacking clothes, shoes, and storing empty suitcases when they weren't in use. It's ideal for the task at hand. It's understandable that some people would be dissatisfied if they needed to store larger items - These aren't the results you were looking for.
I like the size of the rack; it fits perfectly in my closet and is simple to assemble. My only complaint is that when I received it, one of the shelves was bent. I contacted the seller, but they did not respond, nor did they send me a new shelf, which is all I asked for.
I own a bakery and was hoping to use these to stack pans in a small corner space I have available; it should work fine. The columns are made up of three sections that you assemble and are narrower than most commercial shelving. When you push on my commercial shelving, there is almost no give, whereas these shelves have a lot of give. I believe that $125 is excessively high for what you get. However, I purchased from this company because the other company I purchased from on Amazon sent the incorrect shelf, and it became my responsibility to return it. This company deserves a lot of credit for sending the correct product the first time and in a timely manner. I had intended to purchase more, but I believe I will continue my search.
The shelves, on the other hand, dip inward, which is unusual and a little cheap. Two of the shelves in my bakery that I use to hold empty mason jars are caving inward and do not feel as strong as the others. Although it is not an immediate danger, I would like to know that I could use them for other purposes if necessary. It is something I would recommend to anyone looking to save space and have easy access to their belongings. It is larger than the measurements indicated, but the difference is not significant. Check to see if the corner you're using is large enough.
