My twin pillow top fits a bed with a 12 deep mattress with some spare space, so I would imagine it would fit a 12 deep bed as well. As far as mattress covers go, I would have to say that this is my favorite.
The only thing I did was cover the cushions of my sofa (3) with it, rather than put it on the bed. As a guest or myself, when I'm sitting on the couch, I don't hear the other person at all. Because there is no crinkling or crunching noise, it would probably be just as quiet on a bed as it is here.
