The zipper was catching when I first tried it. The zipper isn't moving very smoothly. Then it went on like this: Although the zipper pull continued to slide, the teeth of the zipper were not joined together. I had to keep backing up and trying to figure out what was wrong. Unfortunately, without a zipper, this bag is useless. It's simply a large rectangle-shaped tarp with no zipper.

It's a wonderful mattress once the seal is broken, but it's incredibly difficult to move. In any position other than the intended, it is floppy, heavy, and awkward. My first move after receiving it was, to put it mildly, frustrating. br>br>My second move, I purchased this. It was very easy to slide over the mattress. We were able to use the handles as loops to roll up the mattress, making it easier to transport. It was a huge change from the previous maneuver. br>br>Now that it hasn't been damaged in any way, it's folded up and stored for future moves. It was unquestionably a good investment.

I had to relocate from St Louis to Nashville recently - a journey of 5 hours - With only a few belongings and three of the plastic mattress covers ripped to shreds after the move, I decided to invest in this because product reviews indicated that it would withstand the move back strapped to the roof rack. That wasn't the case. Thankfully, it didn't rain that day, but the tarp material on the highway shredded due to the wind. The zipper stayed in place, but the seams where the zipper was sewn in shredded when I tried to open the cover. br>br>The handles were great for moving, and it was simple to get the mattress into the sleeve. I'm sure it would have been even better if we could have put it in a box truck and put it straight into storage. It may also hold up better over a shorter distance, I imagine. Personally, I'm dissatisfied that I spent so much money on the same thing when I could have bought $10 plastic covers for the same price.

He was given a boxspring. I figured these would be ideal since rain was forecasted!! NOT! When we arrived at my son's college, we took them out of the bag, as well as the mattress. The boxsprings had been ruined, and they had been soaked! Needless to say, the mattress and boxspring were filthy, and we had to not only BUY a NEW MATTRESS, but we also had to BUY a NEW BOXSPRING. WE HAD TO RENT ANOTHER TRUCK TO TRANSPORT IT FROM BOXSPRING! WHEN I "THOUGHT"br> THESE BAGS WERE GOING TO DO THE TRICK, IT COST ME A LOT OF MONEY! SAVING MONEY IS THE BEST THING YOU CAN DO!.

Fits a 17-inch extra-deep pillow-top mattress. This mattress cover was purchased to assist us in moving our 17 - pound couch. inches- Rest king-Deep Beauty It was the deepest mattress cover I could find on Amazon, so I went with that size pillow top. I figured the handholds would be a good addition since we had hired movers. But the truth is that I didn't want to deal with returning a mattress cover that didn't fit, or with having to buy a new mattress if my old one was damaged during the move due to a lack of cover. br>br>The movers cancelled two days before the move, so we had the pleasure of lifting this behemoth and moving it up and down steps and a ramp at 6 a. m. Let me tell you, this cover is STRONG, the handholds are extremely useful, and we were able to cram this into the truck in a way we would not have been able to if we had no cover (this cover slid nicely) or a flimsy cover with no handles (which would have ripped). br>br>Short version of a long story-- This cover is more expensive than the others, but it is well worth the extra money.

Yes, it is a pricey bag, and yes, there are other, less expensive bags that might work just as well. br>br>The truth is that, thanks to the bulletproof material and full zipper, this bag made an impossible move possible! Each one had four handles, making it easy to move around. "Without this bag, we would not have been able to make the move!" br>br> br>br>Several 90-degree turns, up and down stairs, across concrete, through two garages, across the state in a wet and dirty trailer, arrived in perfect condition, and the bag is ready to go for the next person! br>br>Even though I yanked on the handles several times to wedge the mattress through a very small hallway, they remained intact, with no ripping. The best mattress gab I've ever heard!.

We downsized from a four-bedroom home to a three-bedroom home with a spare bed. The mattress is used for overnight guests, but it is stored in a finished basement area. We wanted the mattress to be in the best possible condition. The fact that this bag is reusable appeals to us. It's very simple to fit a queen-size mattress in there, and it zips up easily. The handles come in handy when moving the mattress and bag around. I was concerned that the market's thinner mattress bags would rip after a few uses. This is something I wish I had known about before I moved! Other plastic mattress bags claimed to be thick and durable, so I bought them. They tore the mattress in half while putting it in. I had to store my expensive mattress for six months and was concerned that it would become infested with roaches or worse if left unprotected. This product was recommended to me, so I bought it. We were blown away by how simple it was to put the mattress and box spring in, as well as the durability and convenience of the handles. I no longer have to be concerned about my mattress in storage because I know it is safe and secure. As an added bonus, it will be ready to move when we do.
