As I have bought other brands of covers, I expect these ones will work the same way. It didn't work out that way. I still had to treat the mattress after my child had an accident, despite the fact that the cover is in no way damaged. Rather than use a fitted sheet, I will now place a disposable mattress pad underneath it.

Waterproof (aka pee proof) is not available. Our toddler tripped on it and it leaking. I put it on our bed, and it leaked right through. It was a waste of money since I bought two of them. A second top sheet is the only thing this is good for. You shouldn't buy this pad if you're hoping to protect your mattress from liquid spills.

This mattress pad is part of an Amazon purchase along with a new mattress. As advertised, this pad doesn't function as a waterproof mat! I strongly advise you not to purchase it. In spite of the mattress being supposed to protect my son, his new mattress is ruined after a little accident. My hand had visible water drops from seeingp water through the mattress protector after testing it with a little bit of water. In exchange for the item--the pad--I would like the manufacturer of the pad to reimburse me for the cost of my son's.

A friend of ours had the idea of layering a mattress cover with a fitted sheet, then a mattress cover, then a fitted sheet for easier night time changes. Thus, you never have to remake the bed in the middle of the night if you simply destuff one layer of sheets. Thankfully, my son has always had accidents on the second sheet and mattress cover because they leak through the top sheet and mattress If we had not doubled up, the water would have leaked straight into the mattress. To protect our mattress, there shouldn't be a need for two layers of this mattress cover. At this time, we are going to purchase a new set of covers.

Would have liked to have purchased earlier. The pad that I was expecting might be a bit uncomfortable and/or make a plastic noise as I move around. I have used pads like this in the past with my older children. The truth is that neither is accurate! My child squirms around in bed without making any noise with the mattress protector. It's thin, comfortable, and does not make much noise when he squirms around. Since he has purchased the mattress protector, he has had several accidents, and it has successfully saved his mattress from damage.
I put the mattress protector on just like a fitted sheet, and I have never had an issue doing so. My immediate reaction is to pull the sheet and mattress pad off the mattress and toss them both in the washing machine. While I do dry the pad on low heat, I also use convection to dry the pad. Whether this is necessary or not, I do it with my underarms as well as my legs and it has dried just fine without leaving any lingering scents. As far as his mattress is concerned, it has not been damaged. The fact that it looks like it's still brand new after all the accidents he has had since buying it is very impressive. Having used one of these when I was breastfeeding would have been so helpful, and I would recommend it to any nursing mom who needs one. As a result of milk leakage in the middle of the night, my mattress was extremely soiled. It would have been excellent if this mattress protector had been available. I guess I'll just move on. You never know what you will learn until you try.

When it was brand new and I tested it, this mattress protector was waterproof. Afterward, I moved it for the purpose of protecting a sofa from cats. I was incredibly surprised to find it was not entirely cat-proof You're not going to pee in this. It's not a big deal if there's a small amount of cat pee, but any amount While I only use warm water and no bleach in my washing machine, I don't think the dryer did any good either. Instead, I use puppy training pads under my mattress cover, and I use a different brand of protector on top of the mattress to prevent my cat from using it. In order to get a good waterproof coating, I guess you need to pay more and air dry the materials.

I'm afraid you're gonna destroy your mattress. Please do not purchase this garbage. It so happens that my son has an accident now and then. You will not be able to protect your mattress. Fitted sheets are made of most basic materials, and the middle, where the sheet lays on top of the mattress, is made up of terry cloth. There is virtually no value in it. This is my third time reviewing this product because it has failed to do its task. You can see in my photo that I am currently scrubbing pee out of my bed. It's a terrible product. They are waterproof sheets that I bought for unusual potty training purposes. My dog has a nasty habit of peeing all over the place, whether he's that way by passion, spite, or just cavalier.
