This purchase was prompted by a lack of a suitable surface for my morning coffee in the shower! Great solution for light storage in a small space. No issues at all with this piece!.
Perfect!. We were able to add a 'wall pantry' to our kitchen without taking up too much space with this product. My main concern was maintaining a shallow depth so as not to obstruct the center island, which is where we frequently eat. br>br>In the end, we bought two of them to stack on top of each other, and we secured them to the wall with the provided screws and anchors. It turned out beautifully and complements the kitchen's decor. I'm very happy:.
I'm going to order more! For my windowsills, I've been looking for the perfect size. The succulents on the windowsill drew my attention. The other will serve as a window sill extension and storage for my new houseplant additions to our home. I'm developing a green thumb, and each of my babies needed a nice home. br>br>I didn't need my husband's help because it was so simple to put together; however, I had read that some people had experienced splinters, so I was cautious and didn't tighten it too tightly to avoid cracking it. Simply use common sense to align the screws in the hole and tighten each one evenly rather than one at a time. br>br>I'll definitely order again because it was so simple and affordable.
I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of space this shelf can hold. I wasn't sure there would be enough room for everything I wanted to get off my small bathroom countertop based on some of the reviews and photos provided. Not only did everything fit, but there was still space for more. With the help of a small rechargeable screwdriver, I was able to put the shelf together in minutes. Two of those bearclaw type screws were used, and two of the velcro type 3M hanging strips were used to reinforce them.
I only had a minor issue with one metal piece where the screw locks in place for the shelving, but nothing that a small thin plastic piece couldn't fix to assist the screw in catching it and screwing it in. (I hope that was clear!) It's also very durable! )br>br> Because I live in southern California, where earthquakes are common, I shook my furniture really hard to simulate a strong earthquake, and the shelf only rocked back and forth a little and stayed put! (Keep in mind that I shook the entire thing, including all of my plants and belongings. ) The weight of it all, I'm sure, helped. )br>br>It's perhaps too early to say about sun damage; I've had it for 1 and a half months and haven't noticed any changes/sun damage on it, even though the pamphlet says not to expose it to the sun if you want it to last?br>I have it in a West facing window where it gets afternoon sun starting at around 2pm, then a little shade from our neighbors tree, and sun again a little later. Zone 10a is where I call home. (It's scorching hot this summer!) )br>br>Overall, I absolutely adore it! I'm thinking about getting another one to hang on my wall with my other small indoor plants. br>12/10 would definitely recommend it, and it's well worth the money! ♥.
This shelf appeals to me. It's both strong and lovely! br>br>I unpacked, put it together, and tried to install it above the toilet in my guest bathroom. The unpacking went smoothly. br>br> The items were kept in a box that was sealed with plastic. The assembly went off without a hitch. br>br> Two left-hand sides were sent. The screw head is hidden by pre-drilling the sides. This didn't bother me too much because the right side faces our shower, so no one will notice. br>br>Mounting/hanging didn't go as smoothly as I had hoped. They included the most basic and common hardware. br> So I drilled my well-measured holes, tapped in the plastic bit, and screwed in the screws with 1/4-inch screws. Half of the shelf is protruding so that it can be hung. Furthermore, the screw heads are too large for the bracket bit! I'm getting annoyed now! br>br>So, in conclusion. The shelf is lovely and sturdy, but if you're not handy, calm, or have wine on hand, you might be disappointed with your purchase!.
I liked it so much that I bought a second one for the other bathroom. Bamboo has a clean, warm, and appealing appearance. My shelves are arranged with the bottom shelf being short and the middle shelf being tall. Because most spray cleaning products in the United States are 11" tall, a tall middle shelf provides just enough space for them. Four rolls of toilet paper and a few bars of soap fit perfectly on the short bottom shelf. I didn't mount mine, so I can't comment on how easy it is to mount it on the wall. However, because they aren't rickety, I chose to leave mine on the floor. They were incredibly simple to construct. If you have the right size Allen wrench, I recommend using it because the shelves come with a short, Ikea-style screwdriver. I used an aluminum Allen's wrench on the first shelves, for example. Screwing the shelves together is easier with a longer steel Allen's wrench. I also sanded down an impending splinter on one of the supporting pieces' long edge. It only took a minute, and it will save you money in the future.
br>br>It was simple to put together, except the screws that came with it didn't fit into the hanging part (you hang it on the wall with two screws like a painting). We ripped the entire screw drywall mount out of the wall trying to install it because it was so difficult. Others didn't appear to have this issue, but they did have others, so I'm going to assume it was a quality control issue. br>br>With the exception of the aforementioned issue, the shelf is fairly sturdy and works well in a small bathroom to add vertical space. It looks great next to my bathroom's wooden medicine cabinet. It was very simple to put together, and I like that you can choose whether the shelves are flat or have a lip.
