Keeping toothbrushes in it rather than in a cup or hanging from a holder, I believe, is more sanitary.
I've never been a fan of the ceramic/plastic toothbrush holder cups because they seem unsanitary and difficult to clean, especially with the spitty foam that drips from the toothbrush. Now all I have to do is wipe down the counter beneath this small holder. It's straightforward and goes with any look. My only criticism is that depending on how the toothpaste is applied, it can be a little lopsided. The toothpaste does not lean if you straighten it and place it in the front, and it has these little grippy silicone feet that keep it from sliding off the counter.
Too small to fit an electric tooth brush in the slot as shown in the pictures. Only fits regular tooth brushes in slots.
We recently installed new cabinets in the kids' bathroom, and I wanted to keep the kids from throwing their wet toothbrushes, as well as the messy toothpaste tube (WHICH THEY ALWAYS LOSE THE CAP TO! ), into the drawers. ) I am completely enamored with this. Keeps their toothbrushes and toothpaste in one place!! Other enclosed toothbrush holders make me gag just thinking about the bacteria they could contain. br>If we have visitors or I don't want it out on the sink for the time being, I simply put it in the bottom cabinet. No more ruined cabinets from dripping toothbrushes and squirming tubes! And you'll be able to properly sanitize it!.
I decided to replace an old toothbrush holder that was of the cup variety because it was leaking water and allowing gross gunk/mold to grow in the bottom. This was made more difficult when we switched to bamboo toothbrushes, which can develop mold on the handle. This is an excellent option! Any remaining water drains out the bottom, allowing the toothbrush to dry. It's a lot cleaner. Because bamboo toothbrushes are so thin, they must be pointed in a specific direction to avoid falling through the slats, but this isn't a major issue. Because this isn't a large toothbrush (unless you put it in the toothpaste holder), or one of those extra large, value-priced toothbrushes, I wouldn't recommend using it. tubes of toothpaste of various sizes Some people said it was uneven: br>br> It's worth noting that the bottom of the table has adjustable or removable rubber feet. Four replacement feet were included in my package. When I first got it out of the package, it was uneven, but all I had to do was push the feet on a little harder. The problem was quickly fixed.
This is a fantastic toothbrush holder. I put a paper towel underneath and change it out once a week because, as we all know, toothbrush gunk slides down. Because of the gunk that seemed to accumulate overnight in other toothbrush holders, I used to despise cleaning them. I've been looking for something simple to clean for a long time, and this fits the bill perfectly. The small squares are even big enough to fit a battery-operated toothbrush in them. For my husband and me, it's ideal.
It's more like three. 5 stars. It appeals to me and I intend to keep it, but one of the four legs is slightly shorter than the other three, causing it to wobble. It's fine, more or less, because I pushed it up against the backsplash. However, it's flimsy and light, and the toothpaste fits snugly inside-- When you grab the toothpaste, it snags on the side of the holder and lifts up. It accomplishes the goal. For the price, it's adequate.
It ensures that plenty of air circulates around my toothbrush, which is a good thing. My previous one didn't drain all of the water, so there was always some at the bottom, which was yucky. I'm having a hard time keeping it in place, and I've already dragged it to the ground twice. As a result, four stars are awarded.
