I can't speak for Nordic Naturals specifically, but gelatin is made from animal collagen, which is a protein found in connective tissues like skin, tendons, ligaments, and bones.

All other Omega-related products, on the other hand, must be purchased separately. I took these every day for about a month and had two periods during that time, one a few days after I started taking them and the other right at the end, both of which were extremely heavy and long. I usually bleed for three days. It took four days the first time, but eight days the second time. I am 40 years old and the mother of two children. This is the most uncomfortable period I've ever had. I did some research and found out that bleeding is a side effect. It's not worth it for me. I'm not going to order anything else from now on.
We had used up all of our resources. Anxiety medications for my autistic daughter weren't working as well as they should have. She's started taking fish oils again. is a lot more laid-back.
Nordic Naturals is one of my favorite brands. When I take their supplements, I know I'm getting the best and purest ingredients possible. I occasionally have dry eyes and back issues/body pains, and when I take NN's omegas w/ GLA, my eyes feel better (with the occasional warm compress ect. ) and my body pains aren't as bad. There is no funny or fishy taste to the pills, and they are easy to swallow. If I run out and don't take them for more than two days in a row, I can definitely tell the difference! I'll be sure to look into the rest of Nordic Naturals' supplements.
I've long been a fan of Nordic Naturals products, especially their Ultimate Omega, so when I saw that an 'Xtra' version of the Omega 3-in-1 was available, I jumped at the chance. When number nine was released, I was eager to try it out to help with some minor skin issues I was experiencing (psoriasis, dry skin). The skin can benefit from a combination of high doses of omega 3 fatty acids and borage oil. Even better, Nordic Naturals confirmed that this product did not contain pyrrolizidine alkaloids, which can cause liver toxicity. br>br>The benefits of this product include the absence of a fishy odor (instead, it has the pleasant taste and scent of lemons), the fact that it does not cause belching, and, most importantly, the fact that it was effective in treating my scalp psoriasis and dry skin on my hands. Furthermore, I have not had the severe bouts of dry, irritated skin that I usually have in the winter, and my joints feel better lubricated, with less stiffness and cracking, while taking this. br>br>The only drawback I found with this product was that it caused minor bloating and gas. Nothing too serious, but enough to make me want to stop using the product; however, not everyone will have this problem, so I believe it is worth a try. Since then, I've switched back to Ultimate Omega, another fantastic Nordic Naturals product, and my gas issues have vanished. br>br>In conclusion, I believe this product is well worth a try.

The lemon flavor isn't strong enough to mask the fish odor or prevent fishy burps. I'm trying to locate the peppermint flavor that I previously ordered and enjoyed, but I can't seem to locate it. Muscle pain, on the other hand, has subsided.
