You'd be able to tell the difference between Red Maca, Yellow/Cream Maca, and Black Maca if you went to a Maca farm before the roots were ground into powder. The black maca harvest yields the least amount of maca. I'm not sure if the company mixes the powders in order to get higher yields from a specific maca powder color. Due to its limited harvest, black maca powder is the most expensive of the three maca powders. I recommend looking up videos of the color differences between maca root powders on the internet.

The scent is incredible! I use a teaspoon in my smoothies, and it has a slight caramel or butterscotch flavor that is barely noticeable when blended in. My favorite way to incorporate it into my day is to mix it into my coffee in the morning! I can't get enough of it because it dissolves quickly and leaves a smooth, creamy flavor. I was having ED from Accutane, and I thought all hope was lost and I'd be impotent for the rest of my life.
