Our products' vegetable glycerin comes from non-GMO sources. Pine trees provide genetically modified rapeseed (canola) and vegetable cellulose. In scientific terms, the term "vegetable" refers to something that comes from a plant.
Gaia products do not contain any gluten-containing ingredients, and we test them annually to ensure that they are gluten-free.
Each rhodiola capsule contains 6 mg of rosavins, according to the label, for a total of 12 mg in two capsules. Because liquids weigh more than powders, the mg of extract listed isn't a good indicator of potency. 850 mg of dried herb is used in each capsule.
I have trouble sleeping if I take them too late in the day. So, yes, despite the fact that I don't feel stimulated (as I do with caffeine).

It assisted me in overcoming Severe Adrenal Fatigue. I've been taking it along with a few other herbs and vitamins to avoid taking antidepressants and anxiety medications. It takes a lot of effort to complete all of the research. It can be difficult to find sound advice, but it is well worth the effort! It is critical that you do not use it for an extended period of time. I felt fantastic the entire time I was using it, but I soon realized that using it indefinitely can deplete your storehouses and everything you're hoping to heal. It restores serotonin balance when your body is having trouble doing so, but based on what I've read, it should only be used as a last resort when you're really down, and you should do your homework to find more sustainable ways to care for yourself and taper off. Because it's "clean" energy, the only thing I'm using right now is HIGH DOSES of Vitamin C. Please exercise caution when using this.
I used to take Rhodiola Rosea powder by the tablespoon, which meant I was taking four tablespoons at a time. 6 grams of powdered extract from another company, straight and standardized every day. I then stopped taking it for about 6 months and began to struggle with stress again, so I returned to it and have since decided to keep it as a staple in my diet, despite the fact that many people claim you need to "cycle" this stuff to get the long-term benefits. Term, I do not believe this to be true, and I will continue to use it as a staple in my daily routine. a typical day - Regardless of tolerance or taking a break, it works its magic and does what it's supposed to do. br>br>I do take a week or two off every now and then, but this is something that I require on a daily basis - It works wonders as an anti-inflammatory agent. This is no laughing matter. I've tried everything from Gingseng to Eleuthero to Schizandra to Reishi to Cordyceps to Astragalus - you name it, I've tried it. where each herb has its own place and time to be used, as well as extremely high benefits - This rhodiola rosea is the most potent in terms of anti-inflammatory properties. anti-stress and anti-stress fatigue effects, as well as promoting stamina (the ability to keep going and getting things done no matter what life throws at you) - I can't imagine my life without it; it's a true blessing in disguise. That stuff is insanely powerful and works like a charm; in fact, I'd say it's 100x more powerful and potent in its effects. I've had anxiety for a long time and have been on and off anxiety medications like Lexapro and Xanax. Rhodiola Rosea has proven to be extremely beneficial to my health. I enjoy it, and I no longer require anti-anxiety medication. My anxiety level decreases dramatically when I take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. I've also noticed that my appetite has been affected, and I'm not as hungry as I used to be. I took it after breakfast once and felt bloated, so I didn't do it again- On an empty stomach at all times. Because I've read that Rhodiola loses its effectiveness after a few months, I only take it a few days a week (or only if I'm going to a specific meeting or social event), and I try to take at least one week off each month. At night, I take Ashwaganda (same brand-Gaia) and find that the combination of the two helps with my anxiety, social phobia, stress, and insomnia.
I've been taking Rhodiola Rosea for over two years, taking one capsule in the morning and one at night. Because it comes in a liquid capsule, a dark bottle, and is sourced from Siberia, Gaia is by far the best brand available. Rhodiola should not be taken as a powder capsule, as I did at first; it is far more effective when taken as a capsule. Prior to taking Rhodiola, I had frequent anxiety attacks, was constantly on edge, and had difficulty concentrating. The number of anxiety attacks has decreased to near zero since I began taking Rhodiola on a regular basis, and I am able to deal with stressful situations in a much more positive manner. Finally, I was able to focus on my studies, and I was able to study all day and night. However, there is a word of caution! I had terrible headaches for the first month after starting Rhodiola. I believe a lot of it stemmed from my attempt to start with a higher dose right away. It's best to take it slowly at first. br>br>I've heard that taking a break every now and then is necessary to keep your body from becoming too accustomed to it. I try to take a two-week vacation once or twice a year. I am, however, an emotional wreck by the end of the two weeks. Totally out of the ordinary The anxiety returns when you return to the center. So perhaps this is truly necessary, despite the fact that it isn't a particularly pleasant time. br>br>Overall, an excellent product; highly recommended for anxiety, difficulty focusing, and high stress levels.
I would give this 5 stars if it weren't for the fact that if you take it for too long or at too high a dose, it can cause severe anxiety. The first time I took it, I took it for about 8 weeks, which was about a week or two too long. But it made a huge difference in the first six weeks. I felt better, was less anxious, and was able to handle stress better. Just don't overdo it, and make sure you get the right dosage. I now know that I should cycle it for 6 weeks on, 2 weeks off, and I only take one at a time.
