This is something I've inquired about as well. It's as many ingredients as I can find. Because I have extremely sensitive skin, I try to keep things as natural as possible. I'm familiar with argan oil, and this beard wash is fantastic. It's also true that a little bit goes a long way. If this is of any assistance to you.
It is, without a doubt, a matter of personal preference. Although the wash will aid in the health and conditioning of the beard hair, some people may prefer to use an oil for scent or as a second "defense" against dry/itchy skin.

I wanted to leave a positive review for you, so here it is. However, after a month or two of use. NO LIE, it made my beard as DRY as the Sahara Desert! It's all a load of nonsense. It still dries out even when I use conditioner and beard oil. I should mention that I have a six-month beard that is quite nice, and I used PureBiology's Revivahair shampoo and conditioner to bring it back to life in just two weeks. I'm not even going to give the grave before shaving because I don't want to mess with my friends' beards.
This stuff has a really bad odor to it. It has the scent of a can of Axe spray or something similar. I bought this based on customer reviews, but I believe most people buy it because of the cool label art (1 point for neat art). It also dried out my beard so badly that I had to use twice as much beard butter as usual to get it back to normal. This is an excellent example of why I prefer to use natural-ingredient washes. The ingredient list is just a bunch of chemicals, as far as I can tell. Discount stores have provided me with better beard washes. br>br>Overall, I believe you can get a much better product for a much lower price (this is expensive per ounce) that cleans and moisturizes better. As a back-up, I'm thinking I'll keep this in the bathroom closet. But I'll have to think long and hard before I use this garbage again.
I purchased this to combat beard flakes first and foremost. My beard is simply prone to it, and the advice to "use a dandruff shampoo" has proven to be completely ineffective for me. I experimented with both conditioners and without. Never had much of an impact. This is it. br>br> It's something I've done twice. For the past two weeks, I've been doing it three times a week, and it's made a huge difference in my beard's dandruff problem. It has a very light scent that I would describe as "pleasant" for lack of a better word. And even a little goes a long way; In comparison to regular shampoos, I use half the amount of this and it lathers up nicely. br>br>It also appears to make my beard a little softer. It didn't go from being moderately scratchy to "changed from sandpaper to fluffy kittens" soft, but it did go from being moderately scratchy to. not even a smidgeon of scratchiness It's possible that it'll continue to soften with continued use. Sometimes there are so many reviews that say the same thing that you can't figure out why. I'm aware this time. I can tell you 100% honestly that after the first use, my beard was as soft as anything you can imagine that’s really soft to compare it to. The smell is mild, but it reminds me of an old barbershop where I used to go when I was a kid. I used to use a mild blow dryer to straighten my beard, but after using this, I didn't need to. AWESOME THINGS! br>For good measure, I used the bourbon scent oil (which didn't really smell like bourbon) and it gave the hair a nice sheen. It will be difficult to persuade me to return to my previous habits.
I got a whiff of it, and it was fantastic. I figured this would soften his beard, which was a little scratchy. He initially objected, saying it was silly, and putting it away for a while. Well, now that he's tried it, he absolutely adores it! I just ordered my second tube for him, and he mentioned the other day that he hopes this remains available on Amazon in the future. Another item dries me out excessively. This also takes very little and produces a lot of lather. I've found cheaper alternatives that don't do this, and you'll use them up much faster. It is unquestionably worthwhile to give this a shot.
Use a dime-sized amount, or slightly more, three times per week. It's the ideal amount for beards of medium size. In any case, oils and balms can only go so far, and this will take your beard softness to new heights. My beard is so soft and supple. Regular shampoo will dry out your skin on your face, but this will not. I can't imagine a time when I didn't have a beard wash.
When I ran out of Grave Before Shave, I went to a local store and bought Duke Cannon Best Beard Wash; there's no comparison. In every way, Grave Before Shave outperforms the competition. It has a wonderful scent. The wash is more intelligent and produces more suds. Most importantly, I don't need to use any beard oil to keep dandruff at bay. I had beard dandruff with Duke Cannon that wouldn't go away even after two washes and leaving the product on my skin to moisturize it. There was still a need for beard oil. Only one wash with Grave Before Shave That is all there is to it. I'm not going to purchase another one.
