As someone who has worn a beard on and off for over a decade, I've tried a lot of different beard products. They're all fairly similar in most ways. The washes are mostly clean, and when you get out of the shower, you feel squeaky clean (almost dry). Conditioners help a little after a wash, but they're nothing special; the only one I've tried that I liked was Scotch Porter. br>Oils hydrate the skin, but some are overly oily and unappealing. Balms will help keep the overall shape of the beard in check, but some aren't strong enough and end up just adding another layer of oil to the wiskers. br>All right, let's get down to business. As a result, I believe this is the most natural and effective product line I've discovered to date. First and foremost, there's the washing machine, oh my, there's the washing machine. I'd be perfectly content to stop right there. This is my favorite product in the line. br>It leaves my beard so soft that I don't want to use conditioner on it. If you only try one of these products, make it the wash. br>After that, there's the detangler, which is essentially a leave-in conditioner. It softens the beard even more and adds a slickness to it, which feels fantastic. br>The oil in the set is probably unnecessary, given how well the wash and detangler work, but it is a high-quality oil in any case. The reason I say this is because it doesn't really stay oily in the hair; you can feel it absorb into either the follicle or the skin, depending on what it's supposed to do. Some oils, as I previously stated, simply do not do this, leaving you greasy all day. br>It's probably my least favorite of the bunch, but that's only because it's not a particularly strong hold balm. It's similar to the oil layer I mentioned earlier. It's ok because this one absorbs as well. Instead of oils, I prefer a more tacky balm with more wax. br>In addition, this line's scent is a subtle chocolatey vanilla scent. It has a pleasant scent, which my wife liked at first. However, after a week or so of using the product, I no longer get even a whiff, which is fine; I've noticed this with a lot of these beard oils and the like. br>Overall, a great set of products that keep my beard soft and hydrated all day; it also feels like quality in the sense that it absorbs. It doesn't appear as if you've smeared baby oil all over your face. There are some "name brand" beard care products that feel like this, and I can't emphasize this enough. That is why I am so drawn to this product line. Five out of five stars.

I bought just the beard detangler at first, then the beard wash, but after seeing how well these two products worked, I decided it was time to try the whole kit, and I was not disappointed! There should've been a set of instructions that told you how to use the products in the correct order, but since there wasn't, I'll just tell you how I did it. 1 beard wasn't, 2 beard detangler, 3 oil, and 4 beard balm to keep the moisture in. My only real criticism is that the beard detangler container peels and gets all over your hand when you try to dispense the product, but other than that, it's fantastic and I'll buy it again!.

My search led me to this kit, and I was not disappointed. I was looking for a line of beard grooming products that would do a great job of keeping my beard looking great, smelling nice, and not being too expensive. Shea Moisture Beard Shampoo, Beard Detangler, Beard Conditioning Oil, and Beard Balm are all included in the kit. You'd be paying the same price for a single product from their line as you would for some other products out there. br>br>This kit keeps my beard looking its best, and the fragrance it gives my beard is pleasant and soothing. This is the kit you need, gentlemen, if you want to improve your beard game at a reasonable price. After you use this kit, the ladies will be more appreciative of you.

My boyfriend has had a beard for a few years and has never purchased anything to go with it. I, on the other hand, have spent countless hours watching videos, reading reviews, and selecting everything he has to do with his beard. His sandalwood comb and boar brush, as well as his wash, oils, butters, and wax, are all handmade by him. His Norelco, as well as his straightener for hair and beard. He's been using Professor Fuzzworthy's Beard Shampoo, which I recommend because it's a bar that, if used once a day, will last you about a year. If you're interested, I can also suggest a Soap Lift "dish" for your bar. He then applies Seven Potions Oil (Citrus Tonic) and Detroit Grooming Co. to his hair. Butter with a Leland scent (which is incredible). That butter is the most amazing product I've ever come across. It smells fantastic (mango lime) and performs admirably. br>br>Not only was he low on oil, but since his beard has grown longer, knots and tangles have become more common. I came here looking for a beard detangler and conditioner. I was interested in this kit because it included everything. It's fairly inexpensive for what you get, which concerned me at first, but I figured it'd suffice for the time being. br>br>While this kit is decent, it isn't exceptional. I'm a big fan of the scent! It has a soft scent that reminds me of vanilla, cookies, or milk chocolate/cocoa when I hug him. Although it does not smell exactly like coco butter, I would categorize it as such. It doesn't smell like citrus, cologne/athletic, woodsy, or earthy in the least. It's a warm, vanilla-tobacco-like scent, in my opinion. br>br>It softens his beard, but not as well as the butter I mentioned earlier, and we've noticed that even after using the conditioner, he still has kinks that are difficult to comb through. br>br>He hasn't used the beard balm included in this kit yet, but I'll let you know when he does. br>br>I have two complaints: 1) it contains a lot of clearly non-organic ingredients. It's the same as buying hair products from the store. When it comes to beards, the presence of alcohol (among other things) on the ingredient list is a little concerning. We've all experienced the drying effects of alcohol. Nowadays, the majority of beard products brag about having only a few ingredients, all of which are all-natural. Nothing artificial, and nothing that would deplete the beard's natural oils and moisture. 2) I assumed the beard conditioner was meant to be used in the shower. It isn't the case. Outside of the shower, it'll be yet another product you'll have to use. That was a big disappointment for me because I try to keep things simple and convenient for him because I'm afraid if I give him too many grooming steps, he'll lose interest. I figured it'd be simple enough: shampoo and conditioner in the shower, oil outside the shower. He reasoned that he could wash his beard, apply conditioner, wash it off, rinse, and hop out. He's been using the products for a week and seems to like them, but I understand how (as a woman) you can get tired of all the maintenance steps after a while. How did you get to the point where you didn't need to use moisturizer or other skin care products at all? single. day. I was raised by my single father and have three brothers. Guys, I know, are even worse. I also know that when it comes to reading reviews, guys prefer things to be short and sweet, so I'll leave it at that. br>br>This is a good kit for the money. It could be better, but that would mean a significant increase in price. The scent is one of my favorites yet again. Overall, it's definitely worth a try!.
