I can't measure it right now because I'm not at home. It is, however, quite large. It's about the same size as my $200 silvertip from the Art of Shaving. br>I'd say it was about 2" out of the box and spread to 2" if I had to guess. There is no such thing as cruelty-free badger hair, so we aren't using it. If you're looking for a cruelty-free brush, we have a similar handle with synthetic hair.

My new 1! Early in college, I began to shave properly. Since then, I've tried to give myself an excuse to try new and improved shaving products. Brushes costing anywhere from $30 to $130 have been purchased by me. br>br>This brush does not require the use of your hands. my favorite brush has been taken down Despite my small collection, whenever I try to persuade myself to use something else, I always come up with a reason to re-use something I already own. Using this brush, make a lather. br>br>The hair has settled nicely with almost no shedding after a good break in period and daily use. It has a soft silvertip, but not so soft that it becomes a spineless mop like some brushes (see the Parker Black Badger Brush). It has just the right amount of density for a comfortable backbone that isn't too soft but also not too dense and firm. br>br>After breaking it in, the loft is HUGE and super fluffy. There are no strong odors in this room. There are a few split hairs, and the tips of the hairs appear to be worn, but I believe this is due to the fact that it is so new and still breaking in. br>br>While the hair is excellent, I can't give this product an honest review without mentioning the incredible build. It's truly outstanding. br>br>The glass handle is a work of art in and of itself, and the fantastic chrome ends add to the handle's overall quality. For the past 30 years, I've used almost every type of brush available. But I was never willing to pay the high cost of a silver tip badger. My wife wanted to buy one for me for Christmas last year, but she couldn't find one for less than 120 dollars in any of the brick and mortar stores. She requested that I choose one so that I could get exactly what I desired. With a score of 100. 00 is the upper limit. br>After 6 weeks of searching the Internet, I settled on Maison Lambert, which had excellent reviews and was well within my price range. br>I was blown away when I received the brush! I couldn't be happier with it; it's soft but firm enough for my beard, and it cuts my shave time in half thanks to the quick lather build-up and effect on my beard; I couldn't be happier.
I just got this brush this afternoon and haven't had the opportunity to use it yet. My first impressions are as follows. Overall, the quality is excellent. The bristles are extremely gentle on the skin. The brush head is very full and fans out wide, and the handle has a broad base plate that rests snugly against the heel of your hand. The grip is short and compact, with a pyrimid shaped chrome metal grip under the bristles that is angled in such a way that holding this brush in your hand is absolutely perfect. A Frenchman made it by hand. This gentleman is a true craftsman from the past. A very basic everyday item that has been done exceptionally well. A plush black triangular box greets you when you open the shipping package. It appeared to be a small wifi speaker at first glance, but WOW! when I opened the magnetic clasp. This object appears to be a valuable gem. So I tried it out for the first time today and I'm really happy with it. With just a few twirls, you can easily create a large amount of lather (Truefitt). Today I used Hill Sandalwood, and I had plenty of thick, rich lather for three passes, perhaps because I scooped up more cream with the larger knot, or perhaps because I didn't wring out as much water as I usually do, but whatever the reason, I had plenty of thick, rich lather for three passes. I've had this brush for about a year and a half now, and it's been fantastic from the start. It continues to produce a thick lather, particularly when used in conjunction with Taylor of Old Bond Street shaving cream and my Beau Brummell marble textured shaving bowl. It is a little heavy, as other reviews have mentioned, but not to the point where I dislike it. When you need to set it down to shave, it stands up very well on its back, owing to its weight. Overall, if you don't mind paying a little extra for a high-quality brush, I would strongly suggest this one. It's still going strong, and I expect it to do so for a long time.
