Questions & Answers

Separately, what are the dimensions of the handle and brush?

The handle is 3 inches long, and the bristles are 3 1/4 inches long. In the palm of your hand, it fits perfectly.

Is there any way to clean this in a special way?

My brushes are cleaned with a beard shampoo. It keeps them soft and ensures that only their products come into contact with my skin.

What exactly do you mean when you say "non-cruelty to animals"?

They're paying to extract the animal product from the animal, which will almost certainly be bred specifically for its products, so it's not "cruelty-free." What is the purpose of the breeding of boars? Because companies like this pay for the boar's hair, and then other companies pay for the boar's meat, and then customers pay for the brush and meat, the companies can say, "Oh, this makes us money;" Let's raise a few more boars for their products so we can earn even more money!

In comparison to the bass 153 brush, how does this brush fare?

The Bass 153 firm was used to create this brush.

Brush is fantastic
5/5

This brush is fantastic. The best boars hair brush I've ever had. It works wonders for a thick, full beard; I use it as a finishing touch after applying product to my beard; it smooths out all the hairs and keeps flyaways at bay.

It's just as good as a brush that costs $75! So far, I'm a big fan of this brush
5/5

The bristles are firm and spread out just enough to get through facial hair and reach the skin, and the size is ideal. To promote hair growth and health, it's critical to reach the skin beneath the beard and remove any dead skin cells. Unlike smaller palm-sized beard brushes, it also does an excellent job of evenly spreading beard oil or beard balm throughout your beard. I'd been using the palm-sized one for a while and was looking for something a little more substantial. It appears to be well-made and simply looks cool. It also has a nice grip. Did I mention it's also pretty cool to look at? This brush is absolutely fantastic and well worth the money. For size comparison and to show how the bristles are laid out, I photographed the new brush next to a palm-sized brush. Would I go out and buy a new brush if I lost mine today? Yes!.

The bristles of the brush fall off
3/5

I recently received this and am very eager to put it to use. As I was using it, it happened immediately. Brush bristles fall out and get stuck in my beard, which I'm pretty sure isn't supposed to happen. Is this a low-cost item? Is your brush infected?.

Brush has stiff bristles and is of good quality, but it sheds a lot
3/5

I'm hoping it wasn't a bad brush that I got. Because I have a short beard, I use this brush gently on my face and neck, and I get about ten bristles out of it each time. When I brush my teeth in the morning, I notice that two or three more bristles are half-way out than the rest, and it's not the same hole. I'm going to need another brush if this doesn't stop soon. br>br>I had read in the reviews that the brush's bristles are very stiff. True, but I wanted something that would get down to my skin and scrape or lift away dead skin so that it could be washed away in the shower. You must use extreme caution when handling your face, as these will undoubtedly scratch you. I haven't tried it with this brush, but I've found that wetting boar bristle brushes makes them a little less stiff. br>br>For long beards, this is ideal. This will undoubtedly brush through it, keeping it untangled and tidy. It's done a great job exfoliating under my shorter beard; all I have to do now is hope the bristles don't shed any more.

This beard brush is fantastic
5/5

This is an awesome beard brush, forget those German brushes and go with this one, it feels like a solid piece of bamboo in your hand and the bristles don't pull out your beard hair, I've tried three different brushes and this one is the best.

For beards that are difficult to manage, this is a must-have item
5/5

This is the best beard brush I've ever used. Because it's a stiff brush, it might be a little rough if your beard is short or thin, but if your beard is curly, thick, and long like mine, it'll be perfect. It penetrates my bread to a significant degree. This is beneficial in two ways. First, it helps exfoliate the skin beneath the beard, which has resulted in less (almost no) beardruff in my case. It also penetrates the beard, assisting in the brushing out of curls and tangles. If you're having trouble taking care of your mane, this brush is a must-have. My old boar hair brush is now merely taking up space on the counter.

I wished I could like it a little bit more
3/5

To begin, I'd like to express my admiration for GbS's products. Almost every day, I apply their conditioner and butter. I needed a replacement for my aging, military-style oval boar bristle brush, which I'd had to start cleaning by hand. Unfortunately, this is not the brush for you. It has a lot of visual appeal, and I really wanted to like it, but there are a few major flaws. For starters, it's smaller than it appears in the pictures, so it's stuck in a weird spot where it's too small to hold by the handle but too big to palm, making brushing with it difficult; second, the bristles are extremely firm and rough. My beard is extremely thick and long, and it is so abrasive that it makes me feel as if I'm causing harm. I've owned a few boar bristle brushes in the past, but none have ever felt as tough as this one. It almost appears to be synthetic, like plastic, but I'm not sure. So it gets two stars because it looks nice on the counter, but it's a big miss in terms of functionality.

Palm Helds are a nightmare
5/5

So, for $10, you can get a regular palm-sized beard brush. Isn't it always the case that the darn thing slips from your grasp? Especially after you've slathered some oil or balm on your handsome beard. br>br>Well, that particular adversity is no longer an issue. It was primarily for the handle that I purchased the item. However, I discovered that the boar bristles are actually longer and stiffer than your typical palm-held version, allowing them to reach deeper into your beard and collect the maximum amount of hair with each stroke. br>br>$20 may seem like a lot of money for a rudimentary product, but trust us when we say that once you get one of these bad boys and feel the bristles reach right through the beard hair and into the follicles of your facial epidermis, you'll know exactly where that money went. br>br>Do yourself a favor and toss that shoddy imitation of boar bristles embedded in some shaky wooden platform in favor of a proper beard brush. You will not be sorry!.
