I got one, but it only went up to 232 points. I ordered a replacement because I needed it to be hotter. I'm hoping it works this time; when I first turned it on, the temperature went up, then dropped to 232 and stayed there.
I've had mine for about six months and use them at least once or twice a week with no problems; however, they do get quite hot, so be careful.
Selected User Reviews For Terviiix Pencil Flat Iron, Small Flat Irons for Short Hair, Beard and Pixie Cut, 3/10 Inch Ceramic Tourmaline Mini Hair Straightener Dual Voltage with Adjustable Temperature, Auto Shut Off
Flat iron is fantastic. I like that it shuts off automatically if you forget to turn it off. When you have a short cut, plates are small enough to pick up tiny hairs. Temperature control is another excellent feature.
As a hairstylist who specializes in short haircuts, I would highly recommend this iron for creating and maintaining pixie cuts because it is lightweight and heats up quickly. The swivel cord is a fantastic feature that makes curling and flipping your hair much easier, and the price is unbeatable! I've had other irons that cost more than $100, and this one more than holds its own. Get the iron! 😊.
I can't seem to get rid of this annoying little flip no matter how much I blow dry my hair. Because it is located at the very top of the ear, I can easily burn my ear because most flat irons are simply too large, preventing me from seeing the small wave properly. I bought this little pencil flat iron and it's made taming my wild little curl a lot easier. I still have to be careful not to burn my ear, but because the end of the iron is so much smaller, I can see my ear a lot better and thus reduce the risk of burning it. I wish I had bought this iron much sooner.
Chemo caused me to lose my hair. As a result, my hair was very curly when I got it back. Short hair has never been a part of my style. My short bangs in the front are straightened with an iron. It functions admirably. You can straighten your hair or add a little curl with the small iron. On my very short hair, it was simple to use. I didn't have to wear my wigs every day because of this iron! The temperature can be adjusted, and it shuts off automatically. For a long time, I'll be using this iron.
This straightener is fantastic for my curly hair, which is very short. It gets very close to your scalp, and all you have to do is turn it down and in a little, and you've got straight hair! See my pictures; few strangers can do anything for my curly hair, but this straightener makes it look natural straight, and I can adjust the temperature to avoid burning my platinum blonde dye job white girl hair! And it costs a fraction of the price of most straighteners for short hair! It can also be twisted to create looser curls in your hair. Overall, if you don't want to wear your afro hair every day, this is an excellent tool.
This was purchased to style my bangs as well as to achieve smaller curls with my shorter hair. I like how simple it is to use. However, it feels cheap and, in my opinion, isn't much better than my regular straighter for smaller curls. This is a good low-cost option if your hair is super short, such as a pixie cut. It's just that the plates are made of plastic. y and don't leave crimps in your hair by gliding. The clamp on the iron isn't the best, and I think the wire is too long (though some people may require it). I returned it because I don't think I'll use it instead of my regular iron, but if your regular iron isn't giving you the results you want, this is a good alternative.
This curling iron turned itself off 7 or 8 times the first time I used it, necessitating a turning back on and a temperature reset each time, until it finally wouldn't turn on at all, dying right there. As a result, I returned it to Amazon, which was a breeze. So I ordered a replacement of the same one, assuming it was just one bad one and that another would be fine, but I'm afraid I'll never know. The replacement was ordered and shipped, but after being promised that it would arrive in a few days, it's now been "delayed," and has apparently been shipped to Anchorage, then back to Portland, then to Kent, Washington, where it's been since June 14th. I'm giving up and ordering something else if it doesn't arrive by tomorrow (June 23). Sheeesh!.
The flatiron heats up in a matter of seconds, making it an excellent hair product. My hair is short, thin, and fine, and it wants to curl, but I prefer it straight. It's ideal for shaping my hair, as most flatirons are designed for thick, long locks. It's exactly as it says on Amazon, and I'll straighten my bangs with two hands while holding the end closed. Results - hairstyled in a timely manner,.
