Curling my hair is the last thing I do, so I wouldn't have time to let the iron cool down before leaving the gym, holding the still-hot iron in my hand. YIKES! What if it came into contact with someone? After curling, I can immediately put the hot iron in my gym bag thanks to this sleeve! It's a time saver as well as a guarantee of safety.
Glove is of no use to anyone. It's a great mat/pocket. For a more affordable option, this item is also available without the glove. The glove is completely worthless in terms of price. Because there is no heat resistance, it is just a thin winter glove that provides very little protection. The quality of the product is poor.
I've bought a silicone mat before and it works well, but it doesn't cover the iron when I need to travel quickly. I usually do my hair last and am always late, so I needed something that would protect both the counter tops and the heat in my bag while it was cooling down. This pouch is extra thick and long enough to fit any size iron. I have a curling iron with an extended barrel, and there is enough extra room on the pouch to keep the heat away from any counter tops. This will last me a lifetime and will keep a straightener or iron in your luggage when you travel. You don't have to worry about damaging the cord by wrapping it around the iron! STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!.
I bought two of these to take with me on my travels and to keep at home. It's far superior to my expectations. I have a wave maker with three barrels. It fits perfectly in this sleeve, and it definitely requires a hot pad as well as a sleeve - This is the combination of the two! The sleeve is EXTREMELY WIDE. If you're using a single barrel, this is the way to go. It could hold two or three people. That is not something I would do. However, if you only use one barrel iron, it will swim! Any flat iron will, of course, work. To be honest, this is one of my favorite purchases in a long time; it's great when you order something and it actually does what you want it to do. Hot pink is the color of the two that I bought. The outside is ridged, and because it's made of silicone, it's both insulating and protective. It's big enough for my triple barrel wave maker to fit in. nothing is left dangling If you have a curling iron, flat iron, or major wave maker (triple barrel) and you travel, I recommend bringing them with you. One or both of these are required. In my opinion, it is also reasonably priced. Just fyi. I've tried a lot of "innovative" things. To keep it together, I used hot pads and a rubber band. Towel that is thick. (If you leave your iron on them, they will burn. ) yikes) This is the solution. After all of that, I'd like to end on a positive note. If new information becomes available, I will gladly update my reviews.
I ordered a second one because it's so nice. Finally, a product that prevents me from burning my sink with hot curling irons. This is fantastic. Apart from a towel, I have a place to set the curling iron while sectioning my hair. I can finally put my curling iron away. You won't have to worry about it burning up anything if it's still warm. This is an excellent, low-cost product that has proven to be well worth my money. When it comes to combining silicone products with heat/hot things, I'm a sucker for them.
I had never needed one until I received a new flat iron for Christmas, which fits perfectly in this silicon pouch. The color is a pink from the 1980s. Pink that isn't your typical shade. There isn't even a hint of salmon pink here. But it's a pink that reminds me of Jem and the Holograms, which I adore. br>It's functional, and for the price, I'd recommend it if you need a silicone pouch for your flat iron or anything else that's long and slender and requires time to warm up or cool down. br>This is an unvarnished assessment. I paid for it out of my own pocket. I wouldn't be writing a review if it was terrible.
