It gave me an electric shock today when I plugged it in, and it stopped working. So I'm not sure if they'll exchange it for me or if I'll end up wasting my money.
So far, I'm enjoying it; I've only tried the largest Barrell, but I'm pleased with it overall. I gave it four stars for warmth because I don't like having only two heat options, and I'd much rather have a digital display that allowed me to adjust the temperature to my liking rather than only having two options with a 100° difference between them. br>br>I used the 400° setting for my curls, but didn't hold them for very long because I wanted them to relax out for a loose curl / wave; I tried the 300° setting, but it wasn't quite warm enough, and I would have had to do tiny sections at a time to get it to hold, so I went with the higher setting and shorter time frame; however, I did manage to burn a small section of my hair with that setting - After learning my lesson, I held each curl for 15 seconds instead of the usual 25 seconds. br>br>Would love to see an update on this item with a digital display and temperature selection; I would buy it again if it had that feature.
This curling iron is one of my favorites. It heats up quickly and keeps the curls in place all day. My hair rarely curls or stays curly for more than a day, but it did this time. This curling iron is incredible; I'm so pleased with it, and I love all of the attachments; it's the best curling iron I've ever used!.
Also, I was very careful to only have it on my hair for 5 seconds (I actually timed it), but my hair and the room both smell burnt. br>This is a dangerous product, and if Amazon refuses to accept it, I'll throw it out rather than donate it because it's too dangerous.
The handle does get a little warm, but it won't bother you, according to some reviews; Don't be hesitant to purchase; it's a great product!.
Make a financial saving! I despise this product because it burned my hand and prevented me from curling my hair for long enough. I didn't open it until 9 days after the return window had closed, which was unfortunate.
This appealed to me at first. Versatility and ease of change. The coip used to hold your hair is a little loose, but it's still manageable. Then the temperature began to rise dramatically. Because there are only two heat settings, I reduced it to one. My curls still burn my neck when I drop them because it's still so hot. It is not something I will use in the future.
I just got this today, and while I haven't tested it out yet, the first thing I noticed when I opened the box was that one of the hair clips was broken. That's really all I have to say at this point. I'll update my review once I've plugged it in and tried it out. I'm disappointed by the broken clip, but I suppose it's not a big deal.
