The barrel size of the Original and XL is different (as indicated on the top left of the box). Original: br>Original: br>Original: br>Original XL: 1 in to 1/2 in XL: 1 in to 1/2 in XL: 1 in to 1/2 in XL: 1 in to 1/2 1 1/4" - 1 3/4" br>I wanted bigger curls, so I went with the XL size. I can also get small curls with this by using the barrel's tip. br>Go with the original if you want slightly smaller curls, but they're nearly identical in size (only 1/2 inch apart). br>Regardless of which option you choose, it's a fantastic product that I adore.
I take full responsibility for this error. With a tape measure, I measured it at 2 3/4" at the top of the barrel and 4" at the bottom of the barred. The barrel measured 6 1/2" in length from top to bottom. I hope this information is useful!
It's about one inch wide at the widest point. An inch and a half, at the most. As you go up, it gets smaller and smaller until it reaches about a half-inch in diameter.

I haven't worn the glove in a long time. With it on, grabbing my hair proved difficult. I also included a photo of how my curls looked the next day.
The instructions in the box were out of the plastic, but it was all shoved in the box, so it was a used product. The numbers for the heat are worn away, there was a hair stuck by the handle, and the glove to keep your hand from burning is missing, but it still works, which is the only positive.
It's simple to use and produces lovely spiral curls that last all day!.
I was expecting this curling wand to be a dud, but it turned out to be one of the best curling wands you'll find, especially for the price!! It heats up to 400 degrees in seconds, and the curls are ready in less than a minute. Take a look at my photos; I'm completely enamored with them.
I've tried it all - putting rollers in damp hair overnight, putting rollers in damp hair and blow-drying 12 different curling irons for drying - Various brands, materials (metal/ceramic), heat settings, and size options are available. I've used at least 50 different hairsprays, mice, gels, pomades, and pre-stylers). My hair refuses to hold curl despite various treatments (curling in various ways, smaller sections, holding heat on longer, higher heat, pinning curls until they cool, etc. ). I'm not sure why I decided to try another curling product, but I was intrigued by the idea of trying a wand, and it did not disappoint! My curls lasted several hours even though I used the lowest setting; usually, my curls don't last until I've finished my entire head of hair. This is something I would strongly recommend to anyone with unruly hair.

Buttons are placed in an inconvenient location. While attempting to curl my hair, I found myself repeatedly turning the curler off or changing the heat settings inadvertently. Especially when it came to styling my hair in the back.
2. Barrel appears to be quite short; I have medium-length hair and found curling the entire length difficult. It's possible that it'll look better on short hair.
It appeals to my tastes. This is the first time I've used a curling rod of this type. It also came with a half-glove finger protector. Although I had already purchased a heat styling glove to go with it, it does come with something.
