I bought it despite my reservations because it was cute and I desperately needed a new hair straightener, and it turned out to be a fantastic decision! br>It didn't burn my hair and straightened it silky smooth, just like a CHI straightener. br>I'm not sure what that girl in the other review did wrong, but I used heat protectant and straightened my hair at 355 degrees.
This was one of the less expensive options. As a result, I made the decision to give it a go. It moved through her hair like butter, according to her description. I didn't have to pull at all, which was fantastic! That's exactly what happened! This flat iron is one of my favorites. I was bracing myself for yet another detonation. It was going to burn my hair, so I was expecting it to happen. Nothing of the sort happened. This is without a doubt one of the best "less expensive" flat irons available! It's as if you're rubbing butter on your skin.
The iron is fantastic! For thick hair, this is ideal. Especially if you're only going to do one pass! To avoid heat damage, this is not a product for amateurs to use.

This iron has been in my possession for just over a year. Everything was fine and working perfectly until just before the end of the year. The thermostat would not stay set at a comfortable temperature. It would go off after a brief flash. I could feel it starting to heat up, so I switched to the low heat setting (or what I thought was a low heat setting) because I never use the high heat. When I used it on my hair, it immediately began to smoke, and a strand of my hair became stuck to the iron. It had clearly broken down and was much hotter than recommended. It only lasted a fraction of a second on my hair before it burned away. This irritates the hell out of me. I used heat protectant on my hair, which was dry and clean, and I hadn't even had this iron for a year when it decided to not only die, but to die with a vengeance. The same thing has been said by other reviewers! It's a shame because I really liked it when it was working.
Curling and straightening in one pass. Simple to work with. I upgraded from a flat iron I bought when they first became available to the general public. My hair suffered greatly as a result! This InfinitiPro is a dream come true! One pass does the job that four or five passes used to do, and it's much gentler on the hair. There is no cringing sound and it is very smooth, depending on the hair products used. Simple to work with. I don't get tangled up in the cords or turn it off by accident. I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and have told all of my friends about it!.
