7 hours after using this straightener are shown in the photos. I like this because my hair is naturally thick, curly, and long, and I haven't straightened it in years because every time I try, it takes forever and my hair becomes wavy, frizzy, and it's just not worth it. I really wanted a Babyliss, but I couldn't justify spending $200 on something I wouldn't use every day. I'm glad I got this because it straightened my hair fairly quickly (about 30 minutes) and in two or three passes, but if you're confident in keeping the heat on for a long time, you could probably get your hair straight in one pass. I'm afraid of burning my hair, and this straightener did make it smell like it had been burned until I washed it off, but it worked great. My naturally curly hair is shown in the first photo, and the straightened hair is shown in the second photo, which was taken about 7 hours later. I would recommend this product because it includes ligatures and clips. br>Recent changes: I'm not sure if this is a safety feature or a flaw, but it turns off every 15 minutes or so, even when it's on. It's extremely aggravating because if you don't notice the lights are turned off, you'll keep doing your hair until you've completed your tenth pass and your hair will be extremely frizzy.

It'd be helpful to know what kind of material it is: ceramic, titanium, tourmaline, and a protective coating This was extremely important to me when looking for a flat iron because different plate materials are better for hair than others. It works well for the time being, but I don't see it producing the shine that is advertised, nor does it highlight my split ends like some straight irons do. After one or two applications, however, it definitely flattens out my hair. The following are a few disadvantages: 1. I don't like how short the cord is, and 2. Despite the fact that it has five temperature settings, I don't have the option of choosing between two of them. Aside from that, I'm going to wait a week to see if my mind has changed.

My hair is silky soft, no catching, and my hair is shiny, so soft, and natural looking, unlike other flat irons that left my hair looking fried and obviously straitened. I'm so happy I came across BeKind!.

Talk about getting a lot of bang for your buck! This flat iron/curling iron is ideal for me because I like straight bobs and loose curls at the same time. This iron is fantastic even without all of the extras. The cloth bag, hairbands, clips, colored bobby pins, rattail comb, and heat resistant glove are all nice extras, but they aren't necessary for me. The fact that the bottom of the iron twists to close the unit for easy storage is one of my favorite features.

It heats up extremely quickly, which is great because I don't have to waste time waiting for it to warm up. The quality is outstanding. I also appreciate all of the extras! I would strongly suggest it.
