I bought it for my daughter, who works in the beauty industry and knows how to use these tools properly, and the first time she used it on the medium low setting, it burned a clump of her hair off. She doesn't have thin, fragile hair because she has a full, gorgeous head of hair. She was in complete despair. Fortunately, she has a lot of hair and knows how to style it so it doesn't stand out, but that isn't the case for everyone! When I called Amazon to report the incident, the representative looked at several reviews and said that others had had similar experiences and that Amazon would remove the item from their site. It's surprising to see it's still available for purchase. I was given a refund, which I believe is insufficient! When I called Babyliss directly, the young lady had an attitude at first (which I find ridiculous when a consumer is calling to report that their products are burning people's hair off), but she took the information and a week later I received a letter from them asking for the tool back and offering me a replacement or refund. You'd think that these people would look for a different way to solve the problem. Not so casual and dismissive. br>br>I don't recall ever leaving a negative review on any of the Amazon purchases I've made. I'm not one to complain, but when something as serious as this occurs, I wanted to extend a warm welcome to anyone considering purchasing this item. I don't want anyone else to have to go through what I've gone through. Disappointed to the point of frustration!.

As a woman of color with thick, processed shoulder length hair, many of the reviews were primarily from Caucasian women or women with unprocessed hair, leaving me with mixed feelings about the product. I googled curling irons for women of color and found the Babyliss Pro Nano, Titanium at the top of a list of five others. Then I was a little wary of the price until I remembered that Amazon has a good return policy. So I took a chance and ordered by 8 p. m. on Sunday, with delivery by 2 p. m. on Monday. No other delivery service comes close to matching that speed. So, I'm looking forward to bringing the iron home and putting it to use. My hair, on the other hand, is a little frizzy, and I'm having a hard time managing my split ends, to the point where I'm considering cutting it short. The speed at which it heated up astounded me. The boost button didn't seem to work very well, or perhaps I wasn't aware of how to use it. I went for a trail run with the curling iron in my hair to see how hard or softly it grabbed my hair. Applying heat was the final step. OMG. I was ecstatic with how evenly distributed the heat was, as well as how smooth and shiny my hair was afterward. I only had to run the curling iron through my hair once to soften the root, and my split end was completely gone. I went with a one-inch barrel, which gave my hair a bouncy, salon-like look and a professional soft curl. I am completely satisfied and adore all of the features. I last bought a curling iron when they were still called gold barrel curling irons. Oh, and the spring action on the curling iron never made me feel like it was pulling my hair out or making my split ends break off even more. My hair was gently held in place by the spring action, which wrapped itself around the barrel.

Despite the fact that I have very fine hair, I bought this product and tried it on the lowest heat setting - number 1. Fine hair should use this product. The entire strand of hair was burned off by the iron in a matter of seconds. This is absolutely terrifying.

I decided to take a chance on the BaByliss PRO Nano Titanium Spring Curling Iron. I was initially sceptical due to the cost. I was skeptical that a $50 iron could compete with my T3, which doesn't fry my hair ends and leaves it looking shiny and healthy. I ordered the 1 1/4" barrel on Amazon and received it in two days, and I have to say, this Babyliss blew me away from the first curl. The curls stay in my hair all day, making it look even healthier and more lustrous than my T3! I'm not a big fan of putting photos of myself on the internet. line, but I had to make an exception here to show the waves this iron creates and the condition my hair is in after using it. I have a lot of split ends, but this baby seals the cuticle and makes my hair look much healthier than it actually is. The power button and heat setting dial are both in a convenient location, so you won't accidentally press them. What's more, it's at such a low cost! This iron gets a five-star rating from me.

Curl is just the right size. Watch a YouTube video and leave the ends out for a perfect loose beach wave. Curls can even be maintained on day two with a little dry shampoo at the root and a gentle brushing. It gets very hot, so use caution.
