Yes, I'm 27 and my best friend was my straightener, so I've never curled my hair before. Anyway, I had no idea what I was getting myself into (I promise I'm not an emo). Which barrel should I get based on my hair? It's got it allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll It also comes with a storage box. Although the glove allows some heat to pass through, it is ideal for me. So that I can feel the heat around my curls and it doesn't get too hot, I do it this way. I don't seem to be able to get through it. I was terrified because I had very fine white (bleached) hair. This is superior to my chi straightener in almost every way. In the overalls, I included photos of the barrel curl (complete with robe) and the bubbe wand (which appears to be a toy). Completely different appearances!.
I adore my curling wand, but I have short hair and was concerned that it would not work on it. I expected it to be extremely difficult to operate. I'm used to curling my hair with a traditional curling iron that has a clamp to keep the hair in place. Regardless, I placed an order because I'm intrigued by this new device. I was overjoyed when I received my package and immediately opened it. I carefully read the directions. I was skeptical at first, but after plugging the wand in, it quickly heated up and I set the temperature to the lowest setting. As instructed, I put on the glove and grabbed a strand of my short hair, wrapped it around my head, held it for a second, then glided it out smoothly. As I worked on the curl, I thought to myself, "This is simple. " When I was finished, I set it aside to cool for a minute. Then I sprayed my hair after it had been tousled. It came out exactly how I had envisioned. It's lovely. The only reason I gave it four stars is because I could still feel the low heat through the iron's glove. Even with the heat, I had to quickly let go of the curl. Low heat felt hot enough, so I had to let go of the curl quickly before my hand became too hot, ouch! But overall, I love the curls it created, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on them. I'm thinking about getting a second glove to go over this one. For this problem, I'm hoping they'll provide two gloves. The glove is extremely flexible and not at all stiff.
