I'm not sure if you used large rods, but I'm guessing you did. The curl will be looser if the rods are bigger.

But, since we're in the midst of a pandemic and I'm sick of sticking straight, I figured- What do I stand to gain if I give it a shot? It'll get better! Wow, that's impressive! I'm pleasantly surprised! I read the reviews and decided to use the blue rollers for a more defined curl. I'm overjoyed because it turned out exactly as I would have hoped in ideal circumstances! It was simple to do the perm. As instructed, I turned it on for 25 minutes. I can't see any dry or split ends. The condition of your hair appears to be excellent. In terms of odor, I can't detect anything, but my husband (my "assistant") claims there isn't any. If you put your head right in my hair, you can smell it faintly, but it's not strong, according to him. This is how I did it: For normal, fine, or tinted hair, Zotos Acclaim extra body acid perm is recommended. Three perms and three hair colors have been applied to my hair. This was the fourth perm I'd given my hair, and this time it was an acid perm. I don't believe I lost any curl in the process of perming in a gentler manner.
The product arrived in a shattered box, with the contents spilling out. The solution didn't even curl the hair it was applied to; instead, it bleached the color out completely and turned some areas of hair a nasty green color. Never would I recommend it!.
