I wish there was a way for me to give a 0! I've been using the original for a long time, and my hair was thick and long. In most cases, I buy it in a store. I bought this (on Amazon) in mid-2020, and my hair started to fall out in patches. I let my hair grow back after I cut it off. I used this relaxer to perm my hair again four weeks ago (March 2021), and now I'm back to square one. My hair is breaking out like crazy, so I'm going to re-cut it in a few days.
For short hair, this product is ideal. The Neutralizing shampoo and conditioner must be purchased separately. It's also a good idea to really deep condition your hair. Before I wrap my hair up, I use a leave-in conditioner.
There is no shampoo to neutralize the smell. It's my fault for not reading, but there's a lot of interesting information here.
