Is this item still listed as a 3-pack? pack? I came here after clicking the 'buy it again' button on my order page. I've bought these twice before, but this time I'm going to try something different. ?

This is a fantastic inquiry. I had to look up my previous purchase's original invoice, and it appeared to be for a package of three permanents. I've been ordering and using these permanents for years because they're nearly impossible to find in retail stores. Perms from a beauty shop are out of my price range. I hope this has been of assistance to you. Thank you very much.

Is this something that's been triggered by heat?

When the two chemicals are combined, the answer is yes.

What's the duration of the event?

As time passes, it eases up a little, but you must re-enter the information. Because your hair will be straight at the roots, you can perm it as it grows out. Hair grows about a half inch per month on average, and I perm it every three months. 4 months.

Perms that are superior to those found in salons

This is the only perm I've tried at home that actually works. Years ago, I made use of them. I recently relocated across the country, leaving my hairdresser of twelve years behind, who did an excellent job. Since the move, I've had three bad professional salon perms that burned my hair and/or failed to curl it, as well as a failed home perm. I've returned to Ogilvie home perms and am very happy with them. I wrapped my perms myself when my hair was shorter, and Ogilvie still gave me great perms.

women of a bygone era who prefer to have a permanent residence. I can get the perm at home and take my time rolling it out, etc. I just used one of these perms the other day, and it turned out beautifully for a fraction of the price of a salon perm. It works for me because I have to take a lot of prescription medications and my perms don't last as long as they used to. If you haven't already, I recommend giving these perms a try. Love it. These are some of my favorite long-term pieces. They offer a long-term solution. My hair is soft and pretty, with a long-lasting curl. A wonderful permanent home.
