It seems like you are asking if a three inch threshold will be reached at the end of the ramp if it is used as a ramp. Certainly my own does. There are adjustable legs which allow you to raise the height if you wish. As far as thresholds go, I have used mine on 3 and 4. am thinking of buying a second ramp because I love this one so much.

It's exactly like it looks in the picture! There is no doubt that this ramp is just the right size, as well as being easily adjustable

It fits perfectly, so placing that door mat on top helps prevent debris from collecting on our feet and the wheelchair wheels when we enter and may also prevent slipping As the mat was an exact fit, I decided to place it on top of the ramp even though I didn't intend to do that when I purchased the ramp. It may be bought a second time.
