A small lip extends downward from top to bottom, facing any ridge on the lip of a door. Additionally, the ramp does well on hard surfaces, especially the low level. Putting my vehicle's power chair in my hatch never happens with the ramp, which works just fine as it is. Though the ramp is a little heavy for me to lift into the car, I would rather have it no lighter because I'll not like the weight gain from lifting a lot of weight. Having to walk down this ramp in a power chair may be challenging if you had intended on taking three steps down it. You can find three steps of about 2 feet tall, a ramp 8 feet long and an uphill climb of 1 foot every 4 feet is difficult in a power chair. As they are heavier, longer ramps are created, although they also create taller ones. You may not have an issue if, rather than placing the ramp too regularly, you leave it in place a few times. There seems to be only one problem I can see in this: the rear bumper of your car. I don't believe this would fix it. You will have to put the foot rest instead of using the side door to keep the ramp from sticking out too far. Getting there is hard, so you may be able to try getting it done regardless of the issue.

I love the extra extension that goes over the gasket at the back of my van. A great ramp for our company, we have never had before. This is a ramp that people should highly recommend.

As soon as I purchased the 7' ramps they built for me, things began to change for me and when I tried my scooter I found that the places I could not go before were now accessible. Now I can travel pretty much anywhere I want since I have all the ramps I need. Would you recommend them to anyone?!.
They are sturdy as well. My 71-year-old mother is difficult to handle either, but I appreciate it. A person like me cannot overcome it since they are too old. I should have taken six foot ones. Nevertheless, I found the results to be excellent and maybe I will receive some help to enhance the results.
They are easily accessible for anyone seated in a power chair up to 300 pounds. In comparison, other brands were weak and flimsy. A 30 inch wide extension makes it easier than another one for holding a chair.
My opinion is that you should use this type of product. It would be great if this piece of equipment were available to me. I needed a ramp for my house steps. Would not choose to install it a permanently. The portable ramp was ordered with a capacity of 7 feet. The result was awesome to me. As a result of our previous reviews, I concur with everything they said. This is a bad idea when it is at its highest position and the Velcro straps are too short and flimsy to provide long term support.
(With her not in the Power chair, I just needed this for my daughter's Power chair. ). I want to load my Hondya Odysessy so I'm going to use my laptop. This is a 7 foot ramp with an extender that I have put up in my trunk.
