Questions & Answers

In order for it to be safe, is it necessary to anchor it in place?

As long as the product is heavy and wide enough, it will be safe if it touches the threshold under normal conditions. There is a possibility that it might not stay put if it is on a slipper floor, a floor with little traction, or if someone is deliberately moving it. *br>In no case have we heard of a customer having expressed concern that the product was not safe or that anchoring or modification was required to make it safe.

Is this ramp as bad as the cheap rubber ramps out there?

Out gassing is a natural characteristic of rubber, so the product will always have it. No matter how expensive, how cheap, how natural or how modified, every rubber product has some sort of out-gassing. A product's out gassing is typically at its most intense right after it is produced and will fade with time the process can be sped up by the environment, however, all rubber products would have out gassing to some degree.

Does this ramp have a wide width?

The width is 2 feet, the length is 4 feet and the height is 2 inches

Would you mind sharing a 3 inch high ramp with me? Is it possible to have it from 3 feet to 4 feet tall?

A 3" Ramp is available in a different design, but it is out of stock at the moment. The ASIN is

I had all the needs I had as a rare zebra
4/5

Since I am a chronic illness warrior, using an electric wheelchair, walker and cane and suffering from chronic pain, I compared many products when picking out a threshold ramp from the garage to the house. I selected this for the 2nd level. I like the 5 inch rise, that it is not metal, the rubber, the fact that it is not noisy, etc. . . The product is rubber and stays put. There hasn't been a single time when I had to adjust it. I found the ridges to be much bigger than I anticipated and jiggly on a day when my back is aching. As a result of the dusty rubber, tires lose grip almost immediately. If you know what I mean, it's not a super sticky rubber. We took the photo a few days after using it. Now that it is over a month old, the metal is dull and not shiny. I haven't tried to clean the metal Just wanted to let others know its not shiny if you dont care. The tires have lost traction a few times at the start of the climb if I hit it from too much of an angle as opposed to lining up straight up the ramp. A feature that is possible is to run the cords through the bottom. That is not such a huge deal since the rise is short. The fact that it wasn't solid made me think that it would be lighter in weight. It was still a bit heavy, but my mom managed to raise it to the correct height. Should there be any issues, I will update.

This ramp has been a great asset to my business
5/5

This ramp has been a great asset to my business. The device is at my front door, where I have a brick entryway with a slight step I can't get over with my electric wheelchair. I like the way this ramp looks at the front door and it works well. The door mat just looks like an ordinary thing. It is way better than wood or aluminum ramps I have used in the past. Other ramps can be noisy and bumpy, but the electric wheelchair glides over it with ease. I am grateful for the fact that I have access to my wheelchair and can leave the house, which is a very worthwhile thing.

The material is of high quality
5/5

Earlier today, I received this rubber threshold ramp in the mail. A 42 inch width seemed excessively wide to me, but it turns out Perfectly fits in front of the door of my den. There is a room here where items are stored, and a dolly was needed to get things out. My ramp sits perfectly at the door, with the dirt level under the ramp adjusted to my liking. Heavy-weighted items can be transferred with ease with this ramp. A simple product that can easily be washed or swept. One of my best purchases from Amazon. Thanks a lot!.

It was easy to cut one to get the overall measurement of the garage width right (see left of photo), but it required a circular saw to cut one
5/5

A number of these were purchased to deal with 2 of them. My 20' garage has a 5" to 3" lip running along its entire width. It was easy to cut one to get the overall measurement of the garage width right (see left of photo), but it required a circular saw to cut one. On my motorcycles I cross them, and on my feet I walk up and down them. I really like the fact that I do not have to worry about trips at all and these are of a very high As you can see, they are heavy, which for me is a great advantage because they help them stay in place.

Everything worked as expected Ramp has a lot of obstacles
5/5

Happy. I'm very glad to hear that. I am very impressed with the quality of this ramp. It became available to me because I have a low-riding car and moved to a new place where the curb was uneven. As a result of this ramp, I was able to drive into the driveway without hitting the ground at the front. In order to make it fit on the tires, I had to cut it in half. Since it is a very tough product, it took me a few attempts to cut it. After trying a variety of knives and shears I finally resorted to using a circular saw and had to apply pressure slowly so that the rubber would not burn.

Easily build a scooter ramp with this quick fix
5/5

The rubber ramp is 2 1/2" wide and I love it. My patio umbrella has been on my patio for about 6 months now, and three days ago, I bought another for the same reason. The price is a bit high, but the product will not disappoint. Despite its age, it is proving to be very durable, and I can see I will be able to use it for many years to come. There is one suggestion I would make to anyone who buys It likes to push the ramp away from the threshold when it is in power chair mode. The problem was that it was not level on both sides halfway down the ramp. To fix it, a friend drilled a hole and installed a screw with a fender washer on each side. My chair will no longer push the threshold away when I go in and out of the door because of this. This is an easy way to handle a five star rating.

This is not a suitable ramp for a wheelchair
3/5

In my Garage, just outside the door leading into my house, I use a ramp that is accessible to me as a wheelchair user. As soon as I step up, the ramp tends to scoot away from me, so I cannot use it A part of it has moved up and I am moving it back. The ramp I currently have will be replaced with another.

Setup is a breeze! Adding edges to the ramp and designing it so that it doesn't slide reduces the chances of I have to say that this item came very well packaged, and for me it is a bit This aspect of ordering confused me, so I was concerned if I had ordered the right size
5/5

A ramp fit perfectly behind our front door! I placed it in front of our front door. It also helped my 90-yearold mother, who is having problems with her hip replacement, to have the confidence to leave her house. A ramp's design (ridges and leaves) is intended to prevent slipping or sliding. It's really great to have this.
