Questions & Answers

Is this going to work on a three step entry that has five and a half rises on each step up to the ?

That's not possible, I'm afraid. A single step of 6" was ideal for its use, During our visit to our son's house, we put it to the test with 2 and a half I did not like the 5" steps and the steep angle.

In order to prevent the ramp from sliding off the edge of whatever curb or step it is used on, what can be done to secure it?

This allows it to maintain its position. There is enough overlap with the edge of the step that it will not shift. As well as compressing the lip of the ramp with the edge of the step, the wheelchair (or whatever is on the ramp) forces the ramp edge to bend. As I mentioned, my mother uses a wheelchair 22" in diameter and has never had a problem with the ramp moving. There is some grippy foam that can be adhered to the ramp (such as would be used to secure a chair or carpet to the floor), but we haven't found this

The weight of the object is how much?

On another website, I found out that it actually weighs 27 pounds. Surprisingly, I did not find it to be heavy at all. Anyhow, I would hang the bag on the handle of my husband's wheelchair when I carried him. After struggling with getting his chair and a 270 lb man up the stairs, it was the best thing I had bought.

Can you tell me if you sent this item to Puerto Rico?

The answer is I am not sure. My email did not arrive! I used mine!

The value of the package is excellent
5/5

As a result, I saved a ton of money by buying the open box deal offered. There was a repacking of the ramp into a non-stock box during shipping, but the product otherwise appears new. I actually prefer the metal handles on the ramp to those in the photo, as they differed from the photo. As for how the carry bag was constructed, it had straps instead of handles. I am very satisfied with this purchase and with free two-day shipping, what's not to like? When we park in areas without ramps up curbs or one or two steps and my wife's wheelchair is not available, I plan to use it. When it's used with two steps, the angle makes it not recommended for more than one step, but I am strong enough to cope with it. It fits right behind the front seat of our Buick, and the chair rides right behind it (the bottom of the rear seat has been removed). Also, I got a good deal on her Drive Medical Blue Streak wheelchair (at Walmart online) so I now have both her chair and portable ramp for a little over $200. Online shopping offers the best deals and local health store markups are over-inflated to 1,000% it makes sense to stay away from them.

I used it with a motorized wheelchair and it worked perfectly
5/5

A motorized wheelchair is what my uncle uses so I purchased this for him. I was able to get him in and out of my house which has a two-step entrance with ease with that method. Since the handle did not cause any trouble for me, I am grateful that I did not purchase another ramp whose handle did cause problems for reviewers. It is a great bonus to have the travel case, which can be used to store and carry A wheelchair ramp with this quality will be useful for anyone who requires a small ramp for motorized or regular wheelchairs, and is not looking for.

There are some flaws in this, but the overall impression is good
4/5

Even though there were negative reviews earlier in the year, I received the ramp today and it seems to be fine. The model I bought is 3' x 30" in size. Carrying it is easy because of its light weight. In the picture, the handle is shown large. But it was actually smaller. The handle has been changed to no longer interfere with the bottom, either on a different model or it has been incorporated into a new model. As part of the bag redesign, there is now a separate carry handle stitched onto the bag instead of the same one that goes through the Even though there is a handle on the bag, I'm a little puzzled as to why the ramp should have one too, but if you lost the bag the ramp would still have one. Even though I am 6' 3" and 300 lbs, they gave me a little bit of room up the ramps. The only thing I dislike about these is they have a storm door that interferes with the lip on the ramp, which you can see in one of the pictures I uploaded. You will have to thin out the railing behind the door if you plan to attach this ramp to your threshold and close it. If you are not planning on cutting away the railing, you won't be able to close the storm door. Here are a few pictures of the bottom as well as a side view of the bottom, so you can see there is no protruding handle and that it actually fits flush between the sides when it is.

I liked the wheelchair ramp very much
5/5

It hangs by the door so I can easily access it when my mom is in her This rack can support chairs up to the normal size (18. 5", 20". 5", 22". 5"). It is very easy to fold up. Adding large labels to the top, bottom, step-in, and exit of the wheelchair ramps made sense due to the fact that some of the medical aides may not have dealt with wheelchair ramps before There are sidewalks on the side of the road and on the sidewalks (Basically, "THIS WAY UP!". I love you!!! ", "THIS SIDE DOWN!", etc. This is one of those "signs). There are labels on the ramp's side, but you may ignore them because they appear to be fine Anyhow, it has nevertheless supported a wheelchair with a 22" wheel base that weighed more than 300 pounds. So I would classify it as This music is a little heavy overall and has some piercing bass to it. I'd say it has a sharp edge. The set does come with a carrying case (on which the cats love to sleep).

The wheelchair ramp is an inexpensive portable My wife's motorized wheelchair needs a ramp to allow her to access her home over 3 to 6" stairs, so I bought three of these ramps already and am preparing to buy a fourth
4/5

The price is slightly higher than what you get, but the quality is excellent. (Good value for money). I am over 200 pounds, and my wife's chair weighs more than that. This leads to some flexing of the ramps under heavy weight (I am over 200 pounds). Despite this, they have not bowed. Buying them is a smart move.

It's easy to tell that Amazon warehouse repackaged a broken ramp when it sent it
3/5

It is very disappointing! They arrived almost a week after the departure date stated on the advertisements. It had a broken hinge that had already been attempted to be repaired unsuccessfully. As a result of another break, the original handle was replaced with a makeshift version Not only was the unit in horrible condition, it was advertised as "open box in very good condition". The product arrived in a state that was DANGEROUS! It was ordered to serve 87 years. A lady has just come home from the It was possible that she would have been seriously injured had she stepped on it. I learned you need to do your research before purchasing anything from "Amazon Warehouse" Here's what I wrote about it As a result of this experience, I will never place another order. The book is being returned, obviously.

That was a game changer
5/5

This product has been very easy to use, carry, and it has proven to be very Our attempts to follow the rules didn't work out, but it is still a good solution. In other words, we use it on inclines up to 4 inches high and it stays sturdy and doesn't cause a problem Despite the fact that this is not recommended, we found it to be fine. My mom has been able to navigate quickly and easily, since it made getting from her apartment to her car (with a step off the curb and another step) easy.

I'm in love with it! It's hard to believe how few businesses offer proper handicapped access, and this device is great for getting into houses that may not be accessible
5/5

It's also helpful for getting up curbs, and it's hard to believe how many houses do not have accessible doors. The bag in which it comes comes with its own handles. I am delighted to surprise anyone who happens to be around when I use it. It is important to have a wheelchair on hand if you transport anyone in one.
