The wood used to make this cane is American Ash. The natural streaking from the wood grains gives it a pleasing appearance.
6'5" is the height of our son. The cane was just right for him.
It's possible that the handle could unscrew with enough force, but in the time I've had it, it's remained firmly fixed in place. I grabbed a hold of it just now to satisfy my curiosity and see if there was any movement, but - No, it's as tense as it gets.
It's a typical tip size. A hardware store can provide you with a new tip.

I really like the look and feel of the canes. However, it fell once while I was standing at the counter pouring a glass of water, shattering the handle. I'm not sure how it's supposed to support 500 pounds and shatter just by falling over, which most canes will do at some point during their lifetime. br>br>After contacting the seller, they quickly took care of everything. Something about a crack in the wood prior to manufacturing, I suppose this is a rare occurrence. In any case, through promptly sent me a replacement. br>br>Excellent customer service, which is great because I use the cane a lot. With the exception of one issue, it appears to be solid so far. br>br> It's a nice color, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on how classic it is. br>br>It made the transition from crutches a lot easier. br>br>For how powerful it is, it is incredibly light.
This cane is one of my favorites! I'm just under 6'5" tall, and it's a perfect fit for me! I was so impressed with the size, quality, craftsmanship, and weight bearing that I just ordered the heartwood version to switch up my color scheme. I didn't change the length from 42 to 42. I use a 5" and find it to be the perfect fit for my size and needs. And the fact that it can support 500 pounds gives me complete confidence that it will last. This purchase has made me very happy!.
I ordered this for a big guy who is 6'5" and 320 pounds and he is too short for it, but there are instructions on how to adjust the height. I never imagined I'd be able to say something like that! He wants another cane to keep at the office because it's so nice.
I had an aluminum cane that looked like it belonged to a doctor, and I despised using it. I felt as if I had just been released from the hospital. I like the way this cane looks and feels in my hands; it's sturdy and not too small for my large hands, and it doesn't seem to weigh any more than the aluminum one I had before. It was simple to cut down; just measure several times and cut once, as instructed by fashionable canes. This is something I would strongly recommend to anyone, and the shipping was also very quick.
The instructions were clear, so I had to cut the cane to fit my size. I did require the use of a handsaw. It was fantastic once it was cut to the proper size.
2 inches of the bottom had to be removed, and there you have it! For me, this is the ideal size. It worked because I followed the instructions on "How to Measure for the Correct Cane Size. " It's funny how few people make mistakes when reading instructions. I bought one for my dear old father. He's 6'7" and I don't believe any product was removed to make him feel more at ease. The 'Derby Style' handle, which is polished silver in appearance and has an ornate pattern that screams 'Gentlemen's Walking Stick,' draws our attention. The Derby-style handle (Head) is substantial but not excessively so, and the shaft (Stck) is thick and solid. It can be used to defend oneself if the need arises for it to reveal itself to you. Anyone over 6'3" tall who needs a walking stick due to mobility issues should consider this product.
The ash is a lovely wood that is also relatively light. The one I got has a handle that is identical to the one I ordered (in terms of color). To begin with, it was forty inches long; The purchaser will custom cut the item according to the buyer's detailed instructions. Deliveries on time; packaging is excellent. This is true quality.
It has a great appearance, is extremely light, and is extremely durable. It's been extremely difficult for me to find a cane that is both tall and strong enough for me. This one is a little bit too tall for me. But, because it's made of wood, cutting it down 2" to fit me perfectly was a breeze! This is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a sturdy, tall cane.
