Love it! Off-the-cuff is fantastic. set cane! In the past year and a half, I've had three hip surgeries. I'm getting ready for knee surgery. When I was first able to go outside with this cane, it changed my life. use it. My left wrist has a disability. 9 surgeries with pins on the thumb screws from a MVA a long time ago) Even I find the padding on the hand grip to be quite pleasant! I have a strong feeling about myself. With this thing, I'm sure I'll be able to walk safely. What a fantastic purchase!.
My new cane's bottom leg has a missing rubber cushion. This puts the entire cane in op due to balance and stability when I place it down. If you could sell me one, I would gladly purchase the rubber cushion and glue it on. Otherwise, the cane is practically useless to me. br> requesting a small amount of assistance McTuck.
During my recovery from a hip operation, I had to use a cane for a few weeks. I didn't need a fancy or more sturdy cane because it was only going to be used for a short time. I can't comment on long-term use because my review is only for a few weeks of use. Furthermore, I'm new to cane use, so there's a chance I'm missing some subtleties. This cane was perfect for me as a temporary tool. However, I'd like to offer some feedback on the handle. I had been using another cane for a few days before switching to this one. The solid plastic handle on that cane became dirty after a few uses, and it needed to be cleaned. The handle on the cane in question is made of a soft sponge foam. However, because the handle is a "sponge," it is impossible to thoroughly clean it, and because it is black, it is impossible to see how dirty it is. This is something to think about, especially in the age of the coronavirus, when sanitizing surfaces is crucial. Because my right hand was in a cast and my left hand was using the cane, my left hand was used to do things like prepare food. Stupid me, after preparing food away from a sink, I needed to walk to the sink to wash my hand, which necessitated the use of the cane by the dirty hand. If you can't use your other hand while using this cane, there's something else to think about.
The cane is light, easy to adjust, and comes with all of the necessary setup instructions. My husband has been using it for several weeks after a long illness, and I used it for several weeks because of a sacroiliac problem. The handle's angle makes it more supportive, and the grips are comfortable to hold.
Cane has now collapsed without warning on two separate occasions. Even though the lock is tight and the pip is fully engaged, the lock is still collapsed. This is a replacement cane that I purchased. This is a great, sturdy cane; I'm 240 pounds and this cane lasts. br>I had the exact same one that I lost. br>I drove away after accidentally leaving my old can on the roof of my car. br>Needed a cane, but none of the others I looked at were strong enough. br>I'm not a fan of folding canes, and I didn't want a four-footer. This is the cane for you if you want something nice and adjustable.
This was purchased to aid in my husband's recovery from hip surgery. Our insurance would have paid 80% of the cost, but at $10 and change, it was a better bargain to buy it straight from the source.
I use it mostly to get up from a seated position, then I carry it with me on long walks because my knee gives out suddenly. Great value for the money, and I'm pretty heavy, so it hasn't let me down yet in terms of weight.
