After knee replacement surgery, I wished to get rid of my annoying walker with this cane. It was just the right solution. As opposed to most of the others, this listed my height range (I'm only 5'2"), which I found extremely helpful. The Hurrycane my husband bought me from the store was too tall even when it was at its smallest length. It allows me to quickly return to my normal gait by allowing me to flex the ankle joint/pivot point at the bottom above the quad foot. There is no way for this cane to work with a Double A battery of standard size (Duracell or energizer). Due to their thinness, Panasonic batteries can be used in it. Dollar Tree sells these for 6 for a dollar, which is a good deal for me. Therefore, the cane will remain in my possession.
