It just squeezes into my tub
5/5

The chair is sturdy, and the instructions are well written. My main concern when purchasing this item was that it would be too wide; measurements can be found in the photos. Keep in mind that if you extend the legs for someone who is taller and requires a higher starting position, the base will become wider due to the angle. The feet of my standard plastic molded tub/shower were not squarely on the bottom of the tub at this size, but rather where it began angling up. The feet, on the other hand, are very flexible and make full contact, and it's extremely stable; I tried tipping backwards and there was no way one could tip back by accident.

Dont buy
3/5

This was purchased for my mother, who recently underwent hip replacement surgery. This would be fine if someone had the strength to get into the shower without assistance, but for the amount of security this thing provides, you could buy a plastic lawn chair. Despite the fact that there are suction cups on the bottom, there is no suction. My mother, on the other hand, has a conventional bathtub. The whole thing squeaks, and my mother is 130 pounds. It isn't even worth returning. br>br> It's going to be thrown away.

Poor quality | After three uses, the product broke
3/5

Despite the fact that I am well below the recommended weight limit, the seat's plastic seam split several inches and became unusable after only three uses. Returning the defective chair within the allotted time frame was impossible for me because I was recovering from major foot surgery.

I've never been dissatisfied with an Amazon purchase, but there was one exception
3/5

I've never been dissatisfied with an Amazon purchase, but there's always the first time, and this is it. A shower chair is only purchased for one reason. As a result of your disability, you require it. This shower chair arrived in a jumble of pieces that needed to be put together. It was a terrifying experience. After hours of attempting, I gave up and turned to my son for assistance. who is an engineer in the mechanical field. for assisting with the assembly He also said things I'm not allowed to say here. So just be aware that if you purchase this product, you will require professional assistance in putting it together, and as a disabled person, you will be unable to do so on your own. You'd be much better off taking an uber to your local pharmacy or medical supply store and purchasing one ready to use. I'd give it a 0 if I had the option.

What a piece of scum! The chair was easy to put together, but the piece where the arms go is facing the wrong way

I put it together twice with the same result both times.

The handle covering on this chair disintegrated in just over a month after I bought it on August 22, 2018.

Poorly constructed, with a one-month shelf life
3/5

My son broke his ankle and required the use of a shower chair to bathe him. The chair was ideal for his needs, but I went into his shower to clean it (I know, it took me a month). ), and the tub's bottom was dark brown and scratched. When I turned the chair upside down, I noticed that one of the plastic leg covers had already rusted and scratched my tub. The chair should have been able to withstand a month of showers, but it didn't, and my tub now has permanent scratches. This makes me angry.

Instructions that are difficult to understand
4/5

The instructions, which have been mentioned in other reviews as being a little confusing, have been mentioned in other reviews. It's easiest to put the chair together by consulting the front cover's full-color photo. Take a close look at the seat to see two indentations that mark the chair's front. The rivets that support the side rails are also visible on each leg, which are facing forward. Simply install each leg in this manner so that the side rails will fit, and everything will come together nicely. It's not rocket science, but the instructions make it appear that way. One reviewer mentioned the cross section screw, which is referred to as the "shortest screw" in the instructions. It is the longer of the five short screws, which is why it is confusing. The chair itself is fairly stable and, once fully assembled, performs admirably. Because of the inadequate instructions, I have deducted one star.
