I would highly recommend it for anyone who has difficulty standing or bathing for prolonged periods of time. Steps were clear and easy to follow, making this an extremely simple and easy to set up tool. Since we don't have to bend down so far to pick him up after a bath or shower, our backs have greatly appreciated it. did not purchase this for myself. Purchasing it for my elderly mother who has some mobility difficulties was a good purchase. I am now healed and I do not need a chair, but it is still a good idea to have one around in case I need it. It is not necessary for me to use one of those heal peelers or scrub machines any more and my heals are softer by simply washing them with a towel. When you find out you need to remove the caps off of the legs before starting assembly, the instructions were not written well but once you realize you need to do it, it was super easy to put.
