I'd put it at 24-hours. 30 inches in length We have the seat height set at 18" with only a few leg turns (maybe 4"), so there is plenty of room to grow.
This is an excellent chair. I just placed a new order the other day. I was having knee replacement surgery and needed a sturdy chair to sit in. It doesn't move in any way. To get it moved, I'll have to pick it up. I paid $29 for the first one. The price of the second one had risen to $34. Shop around to find the best deal.
The seat can be adjusted from 16 to 21 inches in height. The legs are 16 inches wide and 16 inches deep. The seat measures 75 inches long by 20 inches wide. 75 inches in length, 18 inches in depth, and 16 to 21 inches in height (plus another 12 inches). 5 inches for the backrest's height.) You should be fine with this seat as long as the inside bottom of your bathtub is at least 17 inches wide (to accommodate the seat's legs.) ) Despite the fact that the seat is wider than the legs, the seat will sit above the height of most bathtubs unless you have a bathtub that is very deep (21 inches or more).
It is, in fact, detachable. The back button, if used, immediately returns to the cut-off point. in the far corner of the bench Two grooved slots in the chair back fit over two corresponding plastic slats in the bench's back. To secure the back, align the grooves and slats and gently press them together. Two sturdy, rectangular plastic tabs are located at the very end of the chair back and fit into the central opening in the back of the bench. Two horizontal 2-inch tabs are built into the tabs. The chair is held in place by inch plastic lips. br>If you attach the back and later decide you don't want it, it's simple to remove. Lie down in the chair. Press the ends of both plastic, rectangular tabs together until they touch to release the horizontal plastic lips that secure the back. I did it with both hands, but someone with larger hands might be able to do it with just one. Removing the chair from the bench is as simple as pulling it back.

br>br>This is the exact same chair they had in my wife's physical rehabilitation facility. br>br>If you found this review to be helpful in any way, please click the button below.
Needless to say, I didn't shower very often, couldn't do my hair (because leaning my head back or forward made me dizzy), and had to rely on baby wipes to stay clean. I was in desperate need of a bath. br>I went back to Amazon to see what I could come up with. This chair, as well as others, appeared to have a lot of potential. Some that appeared to have received negative feedback and appeared to crack and break easily; Some of the chairs were not as sturdy as others; Some of them didn't have a lot of weight behind them. br>Because this chair could hold a lot of weight (400 pounds), I assumed it would be the most durable of the bunch. The side-grips and back-grips were both appealing to me. I liked the rubber feet and the fact that it could be adjusted. br>It's incredibly simple to put together and place in the bathtub. It is simple to move forward or backward. You can sit your entire weight on it without it wobbling or folding in on itself (as the stool I had did), and the seat is very large, so there is plenty of room to sit. The back- I was able to wash my hair for the first time in months thanks to the help of the rest of the family. ) and I was able to scrub all over with my scrub brush without becoming dizzy or unsteady. br>It goes without saying that I now take two showers per day. The only issue is: *yay
br>The only problem is: My cats are fighting for the chair, and two of them are laying on top of it, while the other is laying underneath it, playing. Everything (my colored pencils, socks, towels, cardboard, etc. ) is stowed away under the chair. They are now playing in the bathtub every day. *laughs
br>***2 years later, it's still the best! No stains in the tub, no stains on the chair, it's still holding its weight, there's no unsteadiness or wobbling, and there's no cracking.
This chair is fantastic for me because I am a plus-size woman who suffers from back and knee pain. This chair allows me to thoroughly wash in the shower without pain or discomfort, and it feels very sturdy and doesn't slip or slide, so I can also give myself a quick pedicure afterward. It's the perfect size for my small shower. If you're looking for a shower chair, this one is fantastic.
The width and the back were two features that drew my attention. Did I mention the seat's width? br>It's simple to put together, almost effortlessly, and requires no tools or assembly skills. Good sturdy construction, and it fits in my smaller guest tub, but the width forces me to put it in the center, and if you face it so the back is away from the faucet, you won't have enough room to stand; if you turn it around, you'll have to tip the showerhead clear down to get water on you sitting. This would be better suited to a large shower or tub, in my opinion.
information about the current date I always prioritize reviews based on their utility, so I was surprised to see a one-star review. It is "dangerously slippery," according to a five-star review. He expressed his dissatisfaction with the seat base's lack of drainage holes. To begin, I'd like to point out how many S-shaped drain holes there are. I'm not sure if the design was changed or if the reviewer misidentified the product. I was fortunate in that I purchased it prior to reading that review. I was checking my previous orders on Amazon when I realized I had forgotten to write a review for this fantastic chair. This is, without a doubt, the best shower chair we've ever had. My wife has been disabled for decades, so we've had to use a lot of shower chairs. All of the previous chairs had aluminum legs that easily bent, especially if you sat in them abruptly or placed them on an uneven or curved surface. After some recent medical issues, I needed a chair that could support my lard buttocks, so I bought this one. All of the previous chairs appear to be a joke in comparison. It is VERY strong and simple to put together. The screw-in head is rounded. No matter how close you put it to the tub edges, adjust the feet to keep it stable. You can easily adjust the height, and if you lean on the chair back, it actually supports you. We've never felt so safe and secure in the shower. Another reviewer has written a negative review. I gave it a low rating because of the price, which I try to avoid including in my evaluations because it is subject to change. His price quote was twenty dollars too high. You will not be disappointed if you purchase this.
I fell and broke my arm and wrist, in addition to severely injuring my hip. This was the chair that the hospital provided for me to use, and it was recommended that I buy it to take home with me. At the medical supply store, the price was significantly higher. It was convenient to place my order two days before I was scheduled to leave the hospital and know that it would arrive the same day. It's been a fantastic experience. One thing I would suggest is wetting a microfiber cloth and placing it on the table before you sit down. On the chair, you can move around a little. This was approved by my therapist, and it has proven to be more secure.
It's ideal for a tub with an uneven bottom. It has the same surface as most bath chairs, ensuring that the user does not fall off. Rubber tip legs have a screw that can be adjusted. Showering in the tub or simply relaxing with hot steaming water is a great idea. Because there is no metal in this, it will not rust or oxidize, so it is worthwhile for me to leave a comment. I have one concern, and that is the lip area on the back, which I believe would be better removed. Because I don't like the feel of wet plastic, I place a washcloth or small towel on top of it. You don't have to wear the back if you don't want to, but it is available if you do. It is simple to put together. It was extremely simple to put together, and I can attest to that because I'm not usually one to put things together, and I completed it in under 10 minutes. This bath/shower chair comes highly recommended.
We bought this for my mother-in-law to replace her old one, which had a white plastic seat and back and aluminum legs. This chair is fantastic. Her old shower chair's legs had "buttons" on them to adjust the height, and one of them was always giving out. When you're 90 years old, that's not a good thing to happen. This chair is a huge improvement over the previous one. The seat is roomy, and the legs can be turned to adjust the height. The chair has a lot more stability. We are extremely happy with the results.
