To put it another way, let me say this: The S-curve has not been stretched The M-size measures 33", while the L-size measures 34". 43" in XXL. Each one will be approximately 8" in length. You should be able to determine your size by allowing for a few inches of minimum Velcro strip overlap.br>The Amazon website does provide a recommended size chart:br>For the S-size, allow for a few inches of minimum Velcro strip overlap. M (waist sizes 22-35); M (waist sizes 22-35); M (waist sizes 22-35 for the letter L XXL, waist sizes 35" and up 52"; waist sizes ranging from 52" to 70" for the 3XL.
I only wash mine once in a while, but it appears to be in good working order. Of course, there's no dryer, but it's kept its elasticity so far. If you don't fasten the velcro, all of your socks will be attached!
It didn't add much bulk to my outfit. I can't answer that question because I don't have lower back pain.
You could wear it lower, but I'm not sure how well it would stay put. This product is designed to be worn around the abdomen. I would recommend a garment designed specifically for the hip area over this binder if you need hip support.

Following a recent open myomectomy to remove fibroids, I purchased several different C section style abdominal supports and bands, including this one. I'm petite, so after trying on all of them, I decided to keep this one because it was the only one that felt comfortable. At three weeks post-op, I'm still wearing this Ortonyx support over or under my clothes whenever I'm on the move. This is especially helpful when I'm driving and the car hits a bump. Because the traditional C- isn't available, I went with this. Section bands are typically 9 or 11 inches wide, which is far too large for a petite individual. The kind with three closures brushed up against my incision and covered a portion of my breasts. I can position this band over my abdomen very well because it is narrower. My muscles are extremely sore as a result of the surgery, so I'll be wearing this band for several months to support them. It's especially beneficial because sneezing or coughing can be excruciatingly painful after surgery. The gentle pressure from this band, on the other hand, is not only providing support but also relieving pain. I would highly recommend this to anyone seeking support following fibroid removal or a hysterectomy.
The number 6 is the ideal size. After my hysterectomy, I needed a 5" band to go around my belly. Material of excellent quality, well-made, with adequate support and adjustability. Because I am sensitive to everything, I wear a cotton tshirt between the binder and my skin for comfort. To accommodate my bloated stomach, I went up a size.
I was heartbroken because I had to stop doing jazzercise and yoga while my body healed. I was afraid of re-traumatizing myself if I tried any exercise. I'm going to hurt my abs. I decided to take these classes while wearing this wrap after reading the reviews. There will be no issues. I can't tell I'm wearing it because it's so thin. It's a great length for me at 5'2". This wrap comes highly recommended! I'm back to doing jazzercise and yoga!.
It was constantly rising, and the plastic "struts" inside wentuged my skin. After speaking with the surgical nurse, she recommended that I look for a narrower binder, which I did, and I discovered this one. It's been three weeks since I put it on. I wish I'd had it from the beginning because it's much more comfortable, but it still rides up on occasion. br>I like it because it's simple to adjust, but there are a few things I don't like about it. My first binder was made of a single piece of elasticized fabric that did not 'bend. ' This one is one piece as well, but the fabric is arranged in "channels" that allow it to bend and fold. It's not a major issue, but I'd rather it didn't. The Velcro "hooks" are also very sharp! They scratch my skin, so I have to be very careful where I place them. I've been wearing a cotton camisole under my binder, which has eliminated the scratching. Overall, I think it was a wise decision. It appears to be of excellent workmanship. I'm 5'5" and weigh around 200 pounds, and the XL is the perfect size for me.
I'm 5'4" and this band was almost perfect for me; if I could change anything, I'd make it about 1/2 inch shorter; the sizes are true fits, and the durability is excellent. Before I found this brand, I went through three support bands in two weeks, all of which had issues with stretching and non-sticking velcro, but this one has worked perfectly. I got a lot of pain relief with this product, and I'm so glad I bought it! Velcro is like industrial strength, and the band keeps its shape for the most part.
After my endometriosis surgery, I used it. I couldn't get a good night's sleep because my internal organs seemed to be shifting to the side. That wasn't a problem for me with this wrap. It improved my sleep and made me walk more upright.
I bought this binder to help support my stomach (which has grown a little since I've been at home all day), and I like it because it fits my stomach perfectly. Other binders are too long, causing discomfort in the breast or hip when you sit. In that regard, this one is ideal. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the Velcro irritates my skin in some spots. I suppose the problem is solved if the binder is worn over a Tshirt. It's also a little bulky to wear under your clothes if you're not at home.
Although it was a nice belt, it rolled on me. My umbicial hernia pain was relieved thanks to the belt. It was comfortable, but because it rolled, I had to wear it that way. I'm at a loss for what to do with it. the back, the front, and the sides I have an appointment with a surgeon next week, so this will give me some peace of mind until then. The likelihood of surgery is high. The color is a nice beige. It is well-made. However, I rolled over.
