Scoliosis impedes my ability to walk normally and I use a scoliosis brace I like the narrower 6 inch width of these binders because I am a fairly short person. Originally, I ordered the 30-inch version The binder I originally ordered was 36 inches, but I had to return it for one that measures 36 to 42 inches. We had no problems returning the hat, and we got a full refund. The binder is said to be too stiff by some people. That doesn't seem to be the case to me. It is because of this that the binder does not roll It would be my first choice if I had the choice again.
The support is medium, but it relieves my pain and strengthens my abdominal muscles. I found the price to be more than reasonable and an excellent choice for later abdominal surgery.

Keeping my back and spine in a stable position. Since I suffer from mild osteoporosis of the spine, I feel very unstable and unsteady whenever I am walking around my property since much of the land is uphill, downhill, or uneven, and there are certain areas with rock formations. In the last few months, I have been wearing this binder and felt more steady, doing yard work and bending along with all manner of other physical activity without worrying about my spinal health. The ability to keep my balance more steadily on uneven terrain has helped me gain more confidence. My back and spine feel stable when I sneeze, and I don't feel bent out of shape any longer when I do so. It only has one downside. I have to wear a thin shirt underneath it otherwise my (waist) skin itches from the binding.
