I am not a medical professional, and - Despite the fact that I did not spend the night at a Holiday Inn Express last night- If you have bulging, I would recommend seeing a doctor. Hernias do not heal on their own. Belts or support trusses- similar to this- If you need to postpone repair surgery for any reason, are there to provide comfort and support.
If that's the case, you should consult your physician. br>I've had three hernias in my life, one on the left and two on the right. In addition, the hernia belt you're considering is a great option.
I haven't worn it while sleeping, but I suppose you could.
After removing the foam insert, my wife washed my hernia belt on cold and dried it with a delicate dryer setting or hung it to dry.

br>br>The issue with this hernia belt (at least for me) is that the pad that presses against the hernia is far too large and thick. When I stand up, it works fine, but when I bend over, crouch down, or squat, the pad restricts my movements, causing discomfort and/or pain. Again, the device may be useful for those who intend to wear it in a standing position (walking, for example), but it is impossible to perform a full range of activities while wearing it. For example, I can't mow the lawn while sitting on a lawn tractor because the overly large pad causes discomfort, but pushing a mower while standing up isn't as bad. When I'm working in the garden, I can't wear the belt because the pad is too big to be comfortable when kneeling or simply bending over. br>br>I don't think I'll be able to use this hernia belt as much as I had hoped, and I can't recommend it.
Poor design! br>3, There is no reference point or line where I should fasten my belt tight enough to provide good support for my hernia while also being comfortable enough to move around or walk around in my daily life, so I have to fasten multiple times to get to the right point! Design flaws! br>4, The padding ball is too hard and large for me (due to my lack of weight), so I have to use another material, such as socks, to fill the pocket with padding. Customers should, I believe, be given a variety of paddings in various sizes and shapes, ranging from soft to hard.
I do strenuous physical labor and would have needed surgery if it hadn't been for this belt. By the end of the day, I'll be in a chair before I'm ready to call it a day. The pain and discomfort are completely gone with this belt. If I don't wear it and realize I'm in a lot of pain, I can put on the hernia belt and the pain and discomfort will be gone in 5 minutes.
With this on, I feel more secure walking around while waiting for my hernia surgery.
In March of this year, I was diagnosed with a hernia. 21 and considered surgery at the time, but when the cost was estimated to be around $8,000, she decided to postpone it until August. This belt is extremely comfortable, and I quickly forgot that I was even wearing it when I turned 21 and became eligible for Medicare, which would result in a significantly lower surgery cost. br> From the time I got out of the shower in the morning until I went to bed, I wore it every day. It's also easy to clean. br>With this belt on, I was able to lead a completely normal life, including exercising and lifting weights. br>While this belt costs a little more than the competition, it is far superior to the less expensive alternatives. I know this because I bought a cheaper one and found it useless after only a few weeks of use. Recommend this belt 100%,

I like this product, but I have to have it in order to avoid the annoyance and pain of a hernia. When I cough, laugh, sneeze, or do anything else that requires physical exertion. My doctor told me I wouldn't be able to get surgery due to covid, so I bought this. That aspect of it has made me very angry. Nobody should have to live in such conditions, in my opinion. But the only aspect of this that I dislike is the amount of pressure it places on me. I can't wear it for more than a few minutes without it hurting. I guess all I have to do now is choose my poison until I can get surgery. Aside from that, it's doing exactly what I paid for it to do. It does not allow anything to resurface or harm me in any way.
I love everything about this product; I bought a small medium and it fits perfectly on my 38-inch waist. The Velcro attachment works well.
After suffering a hernia as a result of heavy lifting, I purchased this guard. My hernia was able to pop back into place after two weeks of wearing it.
