Questions & Answers

I went to my PT and he recommended getting a 1/2 As of right now, I cannot tell which of them is a half roll, or if any of them You can help if you can. ?

I am measuring from the right hip to the left hip on this Roll. If you are looking for a back lumbar support for sitting, this is a good one to get. It doesn't extend much beyond my body on either side. There is only half a roll in it. *br>I got one after being suggested by my physical therapist and approved by my chiropractor. that the full rolls [the thick and round ones in the picture below] are too much for lumbar support when sitting. *br>Both of the books by McKenzie were prescribed by my physical therapist, who again approved their use by my chiropractor. Records show that Original support rolls existed.

Do you know if the cover can be removed and washed?

The drawer is equipped with a zipper that runs across the back and you can remove the cover completely. There is a washable synthetic fabric on the shirt. A good book and back support combination would be recommended. It has some simple exercises that help a great deal with back problems. Starting out with an intermittent use of the support pillow is also recommended.

Do you find it comfortable to use in a reclining ?

Since I don't own a recliner, I use it laying on my back in bed when I'm sitting in a chair. Even though it's not comfortable the first time, I love it, it relieves back pain I used to suffer from when I woke up or stood up.

I'm glad I don't have to go to the chiropractor anymore
3/5

A chiropractor you may know told me about this as a way of experimenting with different options for my patients. A good condition, all else being equal. Basic rule your spine should be neutral. To maintain this, you should keep your lumbar spine slightly curved, enough that if you were standing against a wall, you could put your hands behind your back. A part of this neutral curve is a slight tilting forward of the pelvis in response to this tilt (imagine you had a flag sticking out of your pelvis, tilt your pelvis slightly forward so the flag points forward and you will see that the spine curves in response). Just increasing lumbar spine lordosis alone will cause detrimental results, so it is extremely important to have a biomechanical "coupling" between your hips and lumbar spine. High-end office chairs have a slight tilt towards the front. This is why they have a seat pan. The pad is not tall enough to provide support for the entire lumbar spine. This feels uncomfortable and it does not conform to the spine, which may cause more pressure on the facet joints, as evidenced by feeling sore after a 30 minute car ride. In addition to being quite soft, it also doesn't appear to be particularly firm, it's quite compressible but still provides some support, perhaps if it were a little taller. The problem is, you don't need a lot for spinal alignment, and most of these cushions will push you out for no reason. A baby seat would not fit in it as it is too wide. Car seats usually have thin, tapered sides that stretch outward to support the body this causes the roll to dig into the back of your flanks and be extremely I would say that the designers of this missed the mark in regard to improving.

The pad is a bit thick, but it's quite expensive

Make sure your posture is correct, and try it out in your Reviewing this is proving to be difficult for me. As it stands, the roll is a success Made with good material on the outside and a quality foam pad on the inside. My back was very uncomfortable in any of my cars because the material was way too thick. It would be great if I had a totally different engine in an older American car or truck Macaroni and cheese Our current aircraft were much too thick for a down seat, which would have worked just fine with our old fleet. told them I was saving them from having to return the product. The total cost of $45 was almost enough for me to return it. Summary It is a thick pad, so try it on with your hand. It might fit you well. I was shown a better way to do this by my PT technician A towel can be rolled up by taking an old towel. Feel free to experiment with the thickness of the paper. Wrap some blue painter's tape or masking tape around the roll so it stays Cheap lumbar pad that you can use immediately.

My taste is good, but it may not be the same for others
4/5

A lot of the products are slightly overpriced for what they are. It should be offered in at least three colors, not just gray, as I think this is 99 at best. It is clear that executive office chairs are almost exclusively black, so it should be available in that color as well. It would be great if there were a light-color option as well, such as.

I feel worse as a result
3/5

A (or multiple) herniated lumbar disc(s) is the most likely cause of my lumbar radiculopathy symptoms. It's crucial for me to have lumbar support at work so that I can sit through the day without discomfort. I found this lumbar pillow to be unsuitable for my needs. having a lower profile than the other McKenzie pillows, I still found it to be too large for me (I am 5'0 and 110 lbs, for your As a result, my symptoms worsened because I arose my back and put too much pressure on one particular area of my spine. have found that a memory foam lumbar support pillow is much more comfortable for me and has helped me immensely with my radiculopathy when sleeping. My personal favorite is the Memory Foam Cushion by Everlasting Comfort that I've been using for the past two years This is my favorite music video of all time. I've been listening to it while at work, while driving and on long flights. If you're not satisfied with this pillow, you can also try that one.

I love it! It's impossible for me to sit at my desk without slouching, especially while I'm working
5/5

I was forced to try this product by my physical therapist, even taking me into her office to try it. My motivation to get up was low as soon as I sat down in her chair! There was no way I could live without It has made a huge difference in how I sit now that I have it. I won't be able to slouch with this Super Roll, so my back will be less stressed. This product comes with an adjustable strap that keeps it firmly in place while it is placed on chairs of different types. For anyone suffering from back pain, I highly recommend it. I would definitely recommend giving it a go!.

If you don't have one, don't sit at your desk all day! In order to reduce the stress on my neck when sitting at a desk, I purchased this to improve my posture while at a desk
5/5

The C5 and C6 stenosis of my neck with a bulging disk has caused me chronic neck pain. When I am at work, I keep the McKenzie lumbar roll around the lower part of my office chair. As the day goes on, I found that I started sitting slumped over more often. As I began experiencing more neck pain on a daily basis, I began experiencing more extreme measures. I purchased a lumbar roll after my physical therapist recommended it. I was concerned that the lumbar roll would cause my chair to be uncomfortable and cause me to sit awkwardly but the opposite was true. My chair is much more comfortable since I added the lumbar roll. The position of my chair feels more natural to me. It has become less common for me to experience pain flare ups. With Velcro on the straps, this roll can be secured around a chair, as the cushioned portion of it is not too large. There are no obvious limitations to the chair sizes that the straps can fit. It is highly recommended for anyone who has back or neck problems already or for those who spend the majority of their day sitting at a desk.
