For the past three years, I've had intermittent back pain. My sciatica is caused by a herniated disc, spinal stenosis, and a herniated disc. My ache has subsided. Because I couldn't be as active with my daughter at home during the pandemic, I returned about 6 months ago. To get out of pain, I've tried everything. Weight loss, going to the gym, seeing a chiropractor, and seeing a spine specialist are all things that people think about when they want to lose Nothing appeared to be working. I decided to give this back brace a shot; after all, what have I got to lose by trying something new? This, to my delight, relieves my discomfort! I've been unable to move because I've been confined to my bed. For the past six months, I've been confined to my bed. I needed to go back to sleep as soon as I awoke and moved around. It had thrown me into a deep depression, but I am overjoyed that this has relieved all of my pain and allowed me to walk and move around again. However, this simplifies my day-to-day life. I'm hoping that over time, this will assist in realigning my back and allowing it to heal properly. This is truly a blessing from the heavens. This is something I'm going to wear all the time! I strongly advise anyone suffering from back pain to try this. I've been sleeping on the floor as well, which has helped with my pain by keeping my spine aligned. For me, these two items are working!.
It was supposed to help with my lower back pain, so I was hoping it would. I went up to an XL based on the reviews and size chart. It was a massive building. It felt the same no matter how tight I cinched it. Awkward? It just felt like a belt that was way too big, no matter how tight it was. br>br>In this case, I did what any reasonable person would do: I returned it and purchased a size smaller than the large. This one just about fits, and I usually have to enlist the assistance of my husband to get it fastened! It's awkward and unsettling, and it's not at all what I had anticipated. This one, too, will be returned, and I'll have to look for a back brace elsewhere. This product has left me extremely dissatisfied. br>br>UPDATE: This company contacted me and informed me that their sizing had changed and that they would send me the correct size for free. I thought it was excellent customer service until they told me that I would have to purchase the brace myself and that they would reimburse me via PayPal. Because the original email only requested my measurements and address, I told them no, which was dishonest. They responded by providing me with a coupon code that I could use to place an order. Let me tell you something. The code had expired, and the company has not responded to my requests for a replacement code. No, they were under no obligation to offer me a free brace in the first place, but offering one and then failing to follow through is even worse customer service than not doing anything at all. br>br>Buy from someone else, without a doubt!.
I was in a lot of pain at the time, so I got one from Target first, but this one is far superior in many ways, as you can see in the attached photo. If you're on the fence, here are some things I like that the company doesn't mention: br>br>1) This brace is tapered in the front, making it much narrower and less bulky in the front. It also doesn't push my belt when I'm sitting. 2) I'm gay and was concerned that wearing it under my clothes would make me look fat. NOPE! I can't see it because I'm not wearing a skin-tight shirt. 3) The material is soft and does not itch my skin. br>br>4) There are four support "beams" in the back part of the brace, all of which are straight by default. Def curve all four by hand to the shape of your back; it will stay in the shape you bend it (see photo)br>br>4) size is correct! I have a 32-inch waist, and the medium fits me perfectly. br>br>I don't usually write reviews, but I couldn't help but mention how much better my back feels now that I'm wearing this brace. Not only is it less expensive than the one I bought at Target, but it also provides significantly more back support and is less bulky around the waist. Highly recommended; I will update my review if anything changes!.
but. This thing's Velcro is strong enough to hold a car in the air! It has a lot of power. And I really mean it. If you're weaker, or have a disabled hand like I do, you might find it difficult to get on, and even more difficult to get off. I absolutely adore the finished product. I'm sure I'll be using it for a long time because I know the Velcro will hold up. but man. At first, expect a scuffle.
My wife is also currently ill, so we couldn't go out, so I ordered a couple of different supports that could be delivered within 12 hours. This was by far the best; the way the straps add tension, combined with the metal stays, means it can truly support the lower back, whereas the other only put pressure on the sides - This made a significant difference in my life. It's simple to adjust as needed throughout the day, and this was crucial in allowing me to cook vertically for Thanksgiving - so phew! This purchase made me very happy. br>br>.
For the past 20 years, I've been wearing these types of braces. This is one of my favorites. Because it's sometimes difficult to judge sizes, I've created a video. Overall, this back brace has exceeded my expectations.
It has a little give to it but still holds its shape, making it very comfortable to wear and aiding my recovery from lower back spasms. When used, it causes very little to no back pain. br>br>Quality is excellent. The velcro is unique in that it is not rough, but it does not rip or slip from its grip. The velcro is smooth, which is good because it means less skin irritation when worn under a shirt, and you won't have to worry about the prickly stuff poking your skin if you set it up incorrectly. Other back braces only have one piece, but with this one, you can feel how much support it gives your lower back by tightening the second smaller straps. When you adjust them, you'll notice a significant difference. Everything they advertise and describe is accurate. br>br> It does not sag or ride up when worn. It's thick, and you can see and feel the difference in quality.
