This binder is exactly like the one my surgeon sent home with me after me having my umbilical hernia repaired As a small woman, I found the smallest size available far too large, and for this reason I didn't give it a five-star rating. About 2 weeks after surgery, I was able to adjust the fit of both binders, but most people would not have the tools and machines to make such a small adjustment. With just under 1 left, let's move on. There is no difference in comfort, and it is 5" shorter from hip to sternum. For those who have undergone abdominal surgery, I recommend this binder.

I bought it after my surgery since I had been having a difficult time with pain due to having half of my pancreas removed as well as spleen and several As I walked without it, I was hunched over with pain and had to hold my stomach. I was able to move around more freely after I put on this compression. I am not a doctor, but I've found this compression to be very helpful after surgery because it helped me recover quickly.

He needs a belt longer than the size he requires, but it holds things in place pretty well. In addition to wearing his band every day, he also wears it every night.
