In short, yes. There is no danger of it going rancid, because it is food grade. When I'm not using my knives for a long time, I normally just put some olive oil on them, but this is also effective and might be better if they're not used on a regular basis.
No idea what the actual square footage is, but I can easily make up the whole kitchen counter top with this. I think I'd be able to do two!
As the walrus oil is designed to be used on serving boards and cutting boards, I don't know whether it is recommended to use it this way. Using this oil, raw wood is impregnated to a great extent. In some cases, the stain may seal the wood and prevent the walrus oil from impregnating it. You can certainly give it a try and see if you get any results. It would be a bad idea to stain something that will come into contact with food. I would love to see your results, so please share them! This is Kenny
For me, the waiting period is between 18 hours and 24 hours depending on the temperature.

This product has been purchased by me a few times. My experience with the product has been absolutely positive. I love how it works and looks great on the boards as well. The idea of ordering another $25 bottle of wine soon changed to me looking for some recipes and making my own beverage. As a beginner, I used mostly face grain boards, which don't absorb oil very much, but then switched over to almost all end grain boards that use about a quart of oil per board. As a result, I examined the ingredients to find ways to reduce costs. ***Beeswax is used in this product, along with refined coconut oil, mineral oil, vitamin E, and mineral oil. Separately, all of the ingredients are very cheap, and a lot of it is made. As a rule of thumb, this is a good approach. Use 4 parts oil and one part beeswax if you want your final product to be thicker like pudding or slightly harder. The wax is heated in the oil over low heat, and you always stir the mixture until the wax has Cool the mixture after taking it off of the heat and pouring it into containers. You can use 12 to get a liquid formulation similar to walrus oil A ratio of 1 oil/beeswax or higher would be best. Alternatively you can mix refined coconut oil in with mineral oil, or use just mineral oil if preferred. It doesn't actually change how the oil is applied or how long it lasts when it is infused with coconut oil. You all use these words to create the impression that the product is better Whether you use vitamin E is up to you. Caron and Doucet cutting board wax are the finishes I use on my cutting boards. There is nothing better than the smell of this. It is a great product, but it is definitely overpriced for what it offers. They are able to make huge profit margins on this because they buy their raw ingredients in bulk for less. Purchasing these items is a good option for people who do not care about costs and don't want to make their own.
I am amazed at how good the product is. There is something wrong with the bottle that it comes in. A leak occurs after opening the cap, and the handle is so small that it is more likely to get in the way It is also a messy process to pour through the opening because of the shape of the.
I used this stuff on my new butcher block bar in my kitchen and I am more than pleased with the results. In addition to soaking up water well, there is no smell and most importantly, it prevents water from not soaking in well at all. So far I have received my second notice for this great product!.
Having used this on several cutting boards, I am satisfied with the results. There is a Food- label on it, which I appreciate By putting it in fairly big letters, it reduces the amount of It has a great finish that lasts as long as I do. I have since followed this with Wood Wax for Cutting Board, but that is a bit much. As long as you do not skimp on it, you will have all the stuff you need.
Whenever I need to make cutting boards or kitchen islands from butcher block, I go straight Using it has been easy for me as well as my customers, who have only given me good feedback. I would recommend this product highly.
Although this is a good product, I still think it does not have much difference from the Walrus oil that I bought after paying three times as much.
We are having a good time so far! Oak is used in the manufacture of handmade.
As long as the cutting board stays looking good, the tape does its job well. This is a better option than mineral oil alone.
