Questions & Answers

A sword made of High Carbon Damascus Steel just arrived in the mail. This is a great blade protector. Can I use it?

Every Damascus Steel blade knife that I add to my collection gets a coat of Renaissance Wax as soon as I receive it. The application instructions on how to apply the product and how to remove it are very important for protecting and maintaining the blade's appearance. Likewise, I apply it to the exposed tang, handle scales, hardware attaching the handle scales to the blade, and the tang itself to provide the same level of protection as the blade itself does. Moreover, I also store each knife and sheath in a ziplock bag with some desiccant packs to absorb any moisture from the leather sheath and our surroundings since I live in a very humid area, New Orleans, Louisiana. Since I have been doing this for two years now, I have not encountered any rust spots on any of my knives. As part of our goal to keep you happy with your Damascus Steel bladed sword, Renaissance Wax will help you maintain it for many years to come.

Would you be able to give me any tips on using this to wax a 100 year old bronze statue? When they are indoors, how often do they need to be cleaned?

Good morning, Do you think this bronze statue needs to be cleaned? In such a case, I would first use a cleaner that is specifically formulated for bronze metals. The Renaissance wax is highly recommended. If you live in an enclosed environment, you might find that you use it less frequently. The process can be repeated as many times as you like without causing I like how thin and easy the wax is to apply. However, it does have an odor when it opens, but it quickly dissipates. Throughout the world, Renaissance is the preferred choice for museums with rare and important collections You can find valuable items at the store. The reason I use it is because of this.

What are the chances of improving the appearance of a matte Formica counter top with this product?

I would not recommend this if you plan on using the counter top in the future. The wax is made by a wax machine. This wax is very good. Yet wax is still all there is. It is mostly used on fine furniture as a final coat.

There's nothing better than a product that actually delivers what it promises
5/5

Among the vast selection of beautiful Damascus Steel blade knives in my collection there are many styles and the collection seems to be expanding at a rapid rate, as collection of things tend to As a result of the high levels of carbon and low levels of sulfur Steels that are mid carbon in composition are used to produce Damascus steel knives, but they have a tendency to rust, or even corrode when used improperly. To put a protective layer of wax on my Damascus Steel knife blades, I rub a thin layer of Renaissance Wax on them, then wipe it off with a soft cloth before it has a chance to dry out and harden. A thin layer of Renaissance Wax is rubbed onto natural hardwoods, horn, bones, and man-made materials, as well as plastics and other materials. In addition to protecting the knives' handles, I also got material used to make the handles to protect them, wiping it off with a soft cloth as soon as it has a chance to get dry and harden. began using Renaissance Wax, I have never had any rust develop on my Damascus Steel knives, nor have I had any drying out or cracking of the handle scales on my knives. The product is absolutely fantastic, and its excellent reputation over the years has rightfully been earned. It is noteworthy in some reviews that this product comes in a small kit, measuring only I wouldn't be happy with this small 65 ml jar if I had a huge metal surface area to polish and protect. I don't need much Renaissance Wax to polish and protect a new knife I'm adding to my collection, or to polish and protect all the knives in my collection, so this 65ml jar should last me several years and is the perfect size for what I need. Furthermore, it does a remarkable job of preserving the quality of the knives I own. There's nothing I like more than a product that actually does what it promises.

It's a great product for sure
5/5

This is an amazing product that I use on firearms. In addition to shooting a lot of older, collectible firearms, I also collect CDs. The books are in excellent condition, as I make sure to keep them like that. Lastly, I restore old guns. I thought I already had everything I needed to care for and restore wood and steel, but I decided to try this instead. I then realized I was missing a critical part of my care arsenal. HERE IT IS! The book is very much worth the money. In addition to providing a protective coating, it adds a nice sheen to wood and steel. The Flitz I use on my bluing is great, but I have found that applying this following the Flitz gives me an even richer, deeper shine. I have been shooting for over 50 years and it is not often that I encounter a product that delivers the results that I seek. I found that to be the case.

I really like this product
5/5

A friend recommended I try this product when I started to research cleaning and using old barn wood for a craft project. It works great This layer does not alter the color of the material and offers a very low-sheen protective coating. Despite the fact that it is a fantastic product, I plan on continuing to order it!.

I think it works a bit too well
5/5

We have a large collection of silver plate left to us by his grandparents, which was acquired over several In the end, I decided to display all of it on a wall because I had no idea what else to do with it. My majority of these pieces have not tarnished since I first polished them a couple years ago, and I polished them with this product. There are a few pieces left that need to be polished every few months, so they are a constant nuisance. Now that I have ordered more, I am ready to order.

There is a lot more to this than meets the eye

Be sure to check the volume 65ml of this product before purchasing it from this vendor. In the picture, you can get the same product for 3 bucks more than the 200ml container!.

Gently enough to adhere to old photos and strong enough to waterproof Everything can be done with this product! The first time I bought it, I wanted to protect the wooden handles on some kitchen knives my grandfather had left me from the 40's
5/5

My knife needed something that wouldn't rub off easily, would last for a considerable period of time, and would protect it from water and food juice. * I was impressed with how fast it dried and how easily I was able to buff any residual product leaving a matte satin finish after I applied it to my knives. There is no water leaking off of it and I can't be more pleased! I ran into the dilemma of having all this great product and nothing to put it on. I began to experiment. have a pair of Blundstone boots that I wear at work and was experiencing a problem, due to the industrial cleaners I use, any wax, silicone spray, or oil I was using to waterproof the boots would eventually wear off. It would be removed within a few days and I would have to apply again. Having a product that works well on them is great! There was no need to reapply yet and they continued to absorb water like no other. The skin is soft and pliable as well! With the humid Midwest summers, I've put it on photos to prevent them from sticking, on leather bags and wallets that have texture that would otherwise swell and become dull if I used lotion or oil, and on plastics that would crack and fade from prolonged sun exposure. There is some smell when you open the container (sort of like the smell of gasoline on a less harsh level, because after all, it's made from petroleum) which will disappear after a couple of minutes. I highly recommend this product to anyone who is interested in an effective, high-quality, and affordable product. All of those things are done well by it as well as it does more than it should!.

This product is easy to use and buffs easily
4/5

As well as gun barrels, I have used this technique on This wax goes on easy and buffs off clear, like most waxes. There is some strange phenomenon associated with this, as some metals are transformed into wax and others are not. I will be delighted if it protects as well as users rave about it. Well, if not, you can always remove the wax. This product is extremely cost-effective because I've made several coats of it, on several products, and am only a third of the way through the canister.
