It is only when the pain of staying the same exceeds the pain of changing that changes occur. Keeping yourself mentally focused and repeating what you need to do to hold off buying a pack once you have stayed away from doing so will help keep cravings at bay. I found that they were helpful in controlling my cravings, but it's important for YOU to control your movements, like telling yourself to go to the store or it's only one on break.
In my experience, it seems to be a good product as there is a nice steady flow of nicotine throughout the day. The shoes I wear do not allow me to sleep in them. One downside to these is that the adhesive applied does not seem to adhere very well along the side edges, and I feel very sensitive to it. This is still a good product, but I would like the adhesive to be less irritating for skin that is sensitive.
Be sure to keep track of how many patches each box contains. The number in this one is 7. The price was double what other vendors sell it for on Amazon. The brand is not considered waterproof, but it adheres well to the body and stays in place inside In the case that you are a night owl and are sensitive to nicotine, remove the patch before you lay down. As well as not leaving adhesive residue on my arm like Habitrol, this brand does not leave any.
I can only say that this is an absolutely terrible product. Just in the last two hours, I have attempted 3 separate patches and all of them start coming off and have to be removed after a few minutes.
This is my second attempt at quitting. I have failed the first two. Do NOT wait until the last minute to be prepared. Engage in something to keep you.
Although it seems to be working, I still get a craving every now and then.
Since almost a year now, I have not smoked and won't return to that habit. You should wash the area you are applying the patch to before you do so. They may cause your dreams to be intense. I am grateful for their assistance. Despite this, I was not deterred from my core objective. Take control of your life and don't let nicotine take over. Your bank account will grow and your willpower will be stronger.
