Questions & Answers

Are these air filters suitable for people who suffer from allergies?

They are, according to the Amazon feature description. They look exactly like my ResMed filters in terms of appearance.

Where do these come from?

The product was designed in Canada and made in China.

Is it possible to use filters with the Air Sense 10 Auto Set?

The following is a list of all machines with which these filters are compatible: It consists of the AirSense 10 CPAP Machine for Women which has the HumidAir Heated Humidifier along with the AirSense Starter 10 CPAP with HumidAir and the AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP Machine. Take a look at how slender he is! These do fit my Airsense 10, but I haven't been able to return them because I've been out of state since I received them in March
3/5

I've included photos of this one as well as my previous one. Not only are the ones I had prior to this order thicker, but they also have a texture that collects more particles. The older filter type can be found on the left side. I know a lot of people like this product, but I'd prefer one that offers a little more protection for my machine. I'll start with a couple and work my way up until I find a better product. I'm going to throw them away after that.

What you pay for is exactly what you get
3/5

I bought it because it has a good rating. However, the final product isn't up to par. It's quite flimsy and thin. To get a good filtering and to be comparable to another Amazon product, you'll need to use two of these filters. br>br>All I have to do is apply two filters each time I use it. Never again will I purchase. This is not a good idea.

This filter should be avoided at all costs
3/5

The air flow is slowed by it! The "price was right," so I ordered these. " I noticed a difference in the air flow coming through the tubing as soon as I tried one in my ResMed Air Sense 10 machine. Compared to the genuine ResMed fIlters, I would estimate it to be 50% reduced by about 50% reduced by about 50% reduced by about 50% reduced by about 50% reduced by This is, without a doubt, critical and should not be overlooked. The fabric makes a difference. This is a solid, smoother fabric than the ResMed brand filter, which is more porous. br>br>I don't usually write reviews, but I'm making an exception because this has the potential to be a major issue. I've been using a CPAP for a long time and was able to tell the difference right away, but those who are new to CPAPs may not be able to tell the difference.

The quality is poor
3/5

The quality is poor. I wouldn't put my faith in these to filter out much, and I'd be concerned about dust getting into my machine. br>Photobr>O. Resplabs (left) vs. E ResMed filter (right).

Get the "Standard filters" instead of the "Ultra Fine filters," which have a low rating
5/5

The 60 "Standard" Cpap Filters have exceeded my expectations. In the near future, I will place another order. There is a significant distinction between Standard and Custom. All of the negative reviews for the 15 and 30 "Ultra Fine" packages, not the "60 Standard," point to ultra fine filters.

It was disappointing
3/5

These filters are thicker than the originals, but they are made of a different material and have a lower density. When you hold one up to a light source, you can easily see light shining through (which means it will also allow more dust to pass through). We all breathe dust on a daily basis, so I'm less concerned about inhaling a little dust than I am about allowing contaminants to build up inside my machine. After all, our CPAP machines don't grow on trees, and they're expensive! So, after deciding I wouldn't be using these, I tried gently washing my used original filter with dishwashing liquid and warm water. It appears to be as good as new. It won't last very long, but it'll suffice until I find something better.

Excellent value for money
5/5

I've been having issues with the company that should be sending me my CPAP supplies, but they refuse to do so, so I've had to take matters into my own hands. I'm not sure how much they charge my insurance for these, but whatever it is, I just saved my insurance money on filters. Because my CPAP company recommends that I change the filter every two weeks, this pack will last me two and a half years. There's no need to wait any longer or use a dirty filter for several months. Thank you for being offered at such a low price on Amazon.

It looked exactly like my old Resmed filter, and I didn't have to deal with insurance companies or CPAP price gougers! I couldn't be happier with these filters, which cost very little and finally started changing after probably a year when I found them on Amazon (actually washed out the last one to avoid dealing with insurance and their CPAP supplier), so I couldn't be happier with them
5/5

Many others reading this review, I'm sure, despise dealing with their insurance company and the common practice of CPAP supply companies overcharging. The prices are ridiculously high. There are issues with communication. There are issues with billing. People are being pushed to buy more frequently than they believe is necessary, and insurance companies are being blamed. One CPAP supply company even refused to sell me replacement parts for my Resmed unit, which I had purchased through another insurance company with a previous employer, unless I agreed to let them bill my new employer's insurance company for a new machine that I never wanted or needed. That one was resolved after a three-way call between my insurance CSR and the CPAP supply CSR. Regardless, I will NEVER use insurance for CPAP supplies again unless my unit breaks down and I have no other option, based on my previous bad experiences. This is what I've discovered: After insurance pays their ridiculously inflated prices for the same replacement parts, the out-of-pocket cost of CPAP supplies through Amazon is lower or about the same. Even if it is more expensive, it is worth it to me so that I never have to deal with any of these companies again.
