Can you tell me if this seal bears the numbers 4 or 6? A new seal was ordered for me from another company, replacing the old seal which was a 4. ?

My results were the same as yours. I am not sure if there is a difference, but it seems to work fine.

As part of the seal was a plastic elongated piece shaped like an "O"ring measuring 6 inches long and 3/8" wide. But where is it supposed to ?

It comes with the humidifier if you own a Dreamstation. The seal fits on the inside of the top when it is open. The humidifier cover is placed on top of it. Worked great for me. The original was just like that.

In what context does this come into play?

The Phillips dream machine humidifier and humidifier water chamber is sealed with this part, so it can be used for sleep apnea

Installing the lid is easy. How do you do it?

It's very easy to replace it all you have to do is remove the old one and replace it with the new one. Close the lid completely when you're done.

There was a definite difference in the quality of seals

As I used my CPAP machine, I noticed that it was not working normally. It was the best thing ever to replace both seals inside the machine. The fragile lid seal of the SoClean machine is damaged so easily that it needs replacing more frequently than the water chamber, which is made out My health insurance has included a durable medical supply company on the network provider list, but they tend to disallow requests for lid seals. If you'd like to prevent dealing with those obstinate people, it's so much more convenient if you order it directly and at a reasonable price. This is clearly original equipment and carefully pops in.

The fit is excellent. Each breath I took triggered the wheezing of my machine. I was able to replace it easily. Take a deep breath, then pop back Wheezing and whining are no longer present.

Replacement of these should be done by you. There was no information about them available from my durable goods provider. It should be replaced once a year, and it should be The work differs from the rest. Back ups are on my shopping list.

My mask and heat were both properly adjusted, but my water reservoir was always full every morning, despite having the heat turned up. As a result, my mouth and sinuses are no longer dry and I use about 95% of the water I have at night. I'm so glad!.

As if it were brand new, Dreamstation runs smoothly

Having been totally unable to find help from my DME, I am very grateful that I found this site. This seal fit perfectly with my Dreamstaion Humidifier, as well as the inlet seal. Is very quiet and runs like new. A little more than five years had gone by since my machine was manufactured. It would have been better to have had the new seal two or three years My humidifier was not working properly, I had just had a trach removed after successful surgery to treat laryngeal cancer, and my humidifier wasn't working properly either. All of the components needed to be new thus I wanted the entire system replaced. I was very happy with the purchase, and the installation was very easy. Before installing, I washed and let the piece air dry for a couple of days.

The smell went away after I replaced the humidifier flap seal with this new one. In about one minute, the old one is removed and the new one is installed.
